Is it me or did Ford make the front end look even more like a truck? I thought S650 was bad enough but WOW. The exhaust tips are cool. But we all knew it was going to be a rebodied GT500. However the 2020 GT500 had the best designed front end.
You're the first person I've seen that likes the new square exhaust tips. Jury is still out on the whole thing for me. Curious if it will be the dial or the stalk for the transmission and if it will offer a manual transmission.

I think its a cool car. Unfortunately it will probably be really expensive. Hopefully that DCT makes it way down to the normal GTs one day.
Not sure we want it to, if I remember lb for lb the A10 is actually faster on a track and drag strip in a GT with similar power to the GT500. I'm actually not sure why they made the DCT.

Because that's the transmission Ford was playing with before the joint venture with GM to produce the A10. That DCT technology is in a few cars like the Ford Focus.

A10 is faster drag racing, but for road coarse and mountain driving, the DCT is primo.

Is this considered the "Corvette Killer" we were promised by Ford? The MSRP will likely be around $120K. After dealer markups, well north of $150K. I can't wait for the automotive pundits to compare this to the C8Z06. I'm curious as to how the supercharger/temps will hold up to extended track use and not just a "hero lap" time. Not a fan of the design, especially those exhaust tips.

Ford still has not given me a reason to abandon my Mach 1.

Didn't the Focus have a suit over the DCT?

10R80 couldn't shift like the DCT and probably can't handle the heat of track use especially behind a supercharger engine

Yea, just what we need. Another version of the same thing that we already have. There are times when I think that Ford should start producing Marvel versions of the Mustang just because they can.
Ford continues to drive me closer to the buy a base GT and make it into the car you want crowd.
