Franky16,

Just finished the install of the Whipple Stage 1 on my 2024. I have 2 things to comment on concerning the Whipple, at least for now:

1) Where's the low-end torque everyone raves about? Maybe it's the Whipple tune, but the low-end has been very disappointing so far.
2) Whipple is throwing a P129B code, not good. Car is parked until a tuner can read the datalog and hopefully tell us the origin of the code.

Meanwhile, I took my Procharger/P1X/Wengerd tuned 2018 GT for a spin today and it's just a killer ride. Can effortlessly hit triple digit speeds and never go over 3,500 rpm.

If I can get the Whipple tuned better (more money) and get the code resolved, I might be happier. If I can't, I'll sell the Whipple and go with same set up on my 2018, again.

Robvas,

I agree completely. I don't how you could install the Whipple wrong. Starts perfect, idles perfect, drives fine, just gutless on the low-end.

Plus the code thing, which may or may not be Whipple related.

Car only has 4,700 miles on the odometer.

for sure…someone correct me if I’m wrong, but 129b is an incorrect air/fuel ratio, which would definitely limit the oomph šŸ˜‰

Welp fellas broke down and ordered the vmp stage 3 kit. Took advantage of the 15%, actually available to ship and no tax. Can't wait. Vmp tuning will be a bonus

decableguy200,

Excellent choice. Get that thing tuned by Wengerd and you won't be able to sleep at night.

Stage 2 Procharger is outstanding. 22K miles on mine and it's rock solid.

I’m a 22’ GT Roush P2 on e85 with T56 Magnum. Whip made 803 rwhp and 760 torque on Dyno. Rowdy Roddy Piper. lol. Nothing like a PD blower and manual. You’ll need suspension mods and good tires with proper tires. Nitto 555 r2 and zero rear camber. Car will hook and book for real…

Frank16,

Yes sir, 10 speed.

I toasted my original 10 speed; there was a reason why. Upgraded with Suncoast GPZ stuff and all has been good since.
