Chasing the GT350 Exhaust Tone

Hello all. I've got a '21 5.0 PP with the Borla S-Type and an X pipe configuration. Car sounds mean, but............... the GT350 is flat out the best sounding car I've ever heard. I'm curious if anyone has been able to reproduce an exhaust note that's similar with a regular coyote? I understand that most of the characteristics of the exhaust are going to come from the flat plane crank, but was curious if there was anything that could be added to the Borla SType with X pipe configuration to mimick it? The Borla S Type with the X pipe is a best in it's own right, and I do hear some similiarities between the two.

nah, not gonna remove the $2k Borla system I have. That vid doesn't really give a very good indication of what it sounds like crusing, and i'm not sure that was a 'stang in the video was it?

Trying to get a Coyote to sound like a Voodoo, is like asking an orange to be a banana. There is no possible exhaust or intake configuration to achieve this, because the engines are completely different.

Sir, you CAN make your 5.0 sound exactly like a GT350. But it will cost you $30k. If you take the difference in price between your ‘21 5.0 and a ‘16-‘17 350 it might only be 1/2 of that. Worth considering. Enjoy your Thanksgiving as well.

Pretty sure the legendary 5.2L Voodoo hoodoo gurgle burble can't be replicated.

Some aftermarket parts may come close, but they will never be able to match.
I'd say just buy a GT350 rather than trying to make a coyote sound like a voodoo.

Coyotes sound pretty awesome with a good exhaust. Be grateful you’ve got a V8 and not an ecoboost or a tesla.

Thanks Jeff, that does sound pretty good and I can hear the GT350 tone hidden away in there. I'll get one of these and pair it with my Borla S type - pretty sure the combo will sound great.
