Just stopping in to say that this is one of my favorite threads on this forum and that you(@WolfMxbee) are a mad scientist in the best way. And thumbs up for all the collaborative info from all the other guys contributing info to progress the integration.
Carry on.
A fresh razor blade will make quick work of an inspection sticker. If you really have full windshield tint, you're gonna have to peel off the sticker by hand (in 1 million pieces) and use Goo-Gone or some other liquid adhesive remover to get rid of the residue.
I had a colleague many years ago who totaled 2 very expensive cars in 1 month. My boss' viewpoint at that time was: "Sometimes people are a**holes, but if the same keeps thing happening, sometimes you might be the a**hole". That's always stuck with me.
Overall: that's not a great place to...
2018+ Ford Performance Touring Exhaust - Black Tip
Not sure if this is a glitch, but wow, that's cheap. I would take a flyer on getting this fulfilled if I still needed an exhaust. I wonder if they're gonna discontinue this one?
That sounds like a bad throwout bearing whine to me.
Symptoms generally line up, too. A bad throwout bearing will have issues engaging/disengaging the clutch properly.
I'd skip it all.
Throttle Body Cleaning: They're gonna take off your intake tube and spray it with a solvent cleaner and wipe it off. Throttle body cleaner is ~$5 a can (They're charging you $15)
Battery: Any parts store will install a battery for you for free.
Oil: That's not unreasonable...

Cool concept for the exotic car sound, if you have $5k burning a hole in your pocket.
Every time I see this thread, it reminds me of a thread I would have written as a 14 year old.
"Hey guys, I have a 1000whp Mustang that I regularly use to beat up Supras and Turbo Hayabusas in Mexico. But I am bored because it is too fast and I love driving the real way, like Senna said. I...
^^ Fully agree with this. My Ryobi mid torque impact has done everything I needed it to, as a DIY'er. The HF ones are also well regarded for the price point.
If you don't already have a battery system, research on what kind of tools are available within a given battery ecosystem to see how you...
Some of you guys need a neighbor going to work at 5AM with a Bridgeport RX7 to give you perspective.
I'm an old dude, I guess, but it's fun when you like the sound, but when you don't, it's not so fun.
Can't run the Gen 3 manifold on a Gen 2 without a tune. The IMRC/CMCV systems are not compatible, so it's not plug and play.
If you want to change the intake manifold for power gains, the gains come from the tune, not the part. If yours is just broken, you can plug and play a GT350 manifold...
If your dad can get that quarter panel damage fixed for $900, go for it and ship it to him now. If you are going to keep it to drive around with this kinda damage for more than a week, I would strongly reconsider.
What's the use case of the replacement car? All 3 of your proposed replacements are drastically different with drastically different costs and drastically different driving experiences.
The only thing you've got figured out is that a modded Mustang doesn't command any real money on the used car...
$70k for a regular convertible GT is insane. The problem with this level of pricing is two-fold:
- If people pay it, Ford will continue to increase prices.
- If people don't pay it, Ford will use it as justification to stop making these cars.
There are many cars for this price level that I...
