Just took a peek at next week's weather and Monday in the 30's but the rest of the week in the 50's, that I can live with and the rest of the month in the 40's to mid 40's. Not too bad for Minnesota in November. I always like it when the snow doesn't start until January. Makes the winters seem shorter.

... I am waiting for A1 garage door to come install my new insulated door so I can turn on the furnace. I heat my shop and that won't happen without the new door. I ordered it Sept. 30th and they said, because it was a special order it would take four to six weeks. We are there and I need my door. I paid for it in full thinking they would maybe get it done sooner. So much for that. I have equipment that I don't like to be in freezing temps.

That was your first mistake. You prepaid them and now they have NO incentive to rush. You did it backwards, haha.

We have a light dusting and the only place I can see it is on the Mustang deck lid. I didn't put the 2011 V6 in the shop last night. That is going to be my winter beater this year. I put the old stock wheels and some winter tires on. Stock wheels have the clear coat blistering and the Shelby mags I took off are free of any blemishes.

After living in Buffalo for a decade and learning all about the lake and how it affects the weather, I agree. Still remember seeing the phrase "snow squall" for the first time on the TV ticker and watching a foot of snow pile up in about 45 minutes. I questioned my life choices.

Currently 28F, glad I put my winter wheels and tires on Friday afternoon. Potential for 3-5” PER HOUR snowfall rates around the bottom of the lake tonight into tomorrow morning. Some parts of eastern IL and NW Indiana could get 2 feet or more of snow depending on how stationary the snow bands stay. I’m not ready for this $hit this early in November

Roads are still free of salt and snow, so I took it out for another 50-mile trip. I just don't want to put it away yet. As long as the Hwy Dept. isn't salting the roads I will keep sneaking out for a drive.

Same here. As I backed out of the garage, 29 degrees and snow on the ground, looked at the stang under cover on the other side and told the wife I got it set aside for the winter just in time.

Still fighting to keep driving my Mustang. In Minnesota we do not have any of the snow or ice and this week will be mid 50's and maybe 60 on Friday. I will keep driving as long as posable. I mowed the lawn for the last time this year, last Saturday and it was only 28 degrees, I have a large yard, and it took me 4 hours to get it all done. I have a lot of maple trees, and I wanted to wait for all the leaves to fall before my last clean up. Now the yard is ready for winter, but I'm NOT!
