I average about 5k a year so far. I don't like driving cars like this every day so I drive to work occasionally but mostly what I do is on weekends if I need to run an errand I just go to the target 60 miles away and take the long country back road to get there 🤷🏻‍♂️ works for me

agreed. I haven’t disabled it because I could give a crap if anybody knows how fast I’m driving. The only thing I use it for is to see how many points I have and to see what my oil life is because I’m lazy and don’t check it in the car.
Me too.

Ok, so, as promised... I got the dash gadgets installed. European models come with the harness pre-installed just as I saw on many US videos, so any European Mach 1, as long as it is not right hand drive, can get the proper dash installed. The hardest thing for me was getting it back in. For some reason the air ducts did not align well and it gave me some hard time. Cutting and dismantling the front dash was much easier than expected. I think it was meant to be installed like that by design. Most probably the center air duct is simply blocked with some cap, but it looks like when you cut the plastic, all the proper clip holes for the gadgets are there. In fact the dash with the gadgets fits better than the original one.

@Rhyanski Why didn't you get the gauges from GT350 with oil temp instead of vacuum? Or the dash couldn't be ordered without the gauges? It definitely looks great!
Dash comes with the gauges pre-installed. It was on ebay half the price from any parts site, so I did not think much about it. The 350 ones make much more sense, but these are around 300USD brand new. Bearing in mind the uncertainty whether even the Mach 1 OEM ones would work on the EU model, I decided not to risk yet another 300. I am looking regularly on ebay for the 350 gauges as they come in prices between 100 and 200 now. Eventually I consider swapping them, but there's no rush now. I still have to enjoy these ones and... I still have to survive my wife going inside the car, as she has no clue yet.

OK, not really a thing I did today, it was published today. I was invited to make a video for the local American Muscle Cars club here in Bulgaria introducing the Mach 1. We shot the video some time in August and it took ages to get released.
The subtitles have been auto-generated, so they are far from perfect, yet if you want to see me - here I am - the fat guy with the white shirt, lol....

So I asked if the 2 recalls (a BCM and a PCM?) would clear any of my settings and was told no.

Well My Mode was gone when I drove home. No biggie.

New plate cover from Ford Performance. Figure I should get it before it switches over to Ford Racing branded products, because the Mach was created during the time of FP. Comes with rubber backing, which I like to have now and luckily no paint under my old cover was damaged prior. I was having an issue with OEM plate screws “spinning forever”, but not being able to be backed out by hand if that makes sense. So I picked up some longer screws, still 1/4 but now 1in in length. Solved the issue fully on the right side as it has a true “stop point”, the left still has that “spin forever” feeling but not quite as bad, and neither are able to be spinned left or right by hand, so I’m happy with the result, and having secure plate screws. Eventually I’ll still put in rivnuts.
