Finished up two projects today... Drilled and painted the tow hook cover and installed the ZL1 Add-ons' tow hook. Installed a Schroth Quic kFit harness. Probably overkill for autocross, but I figure I'll have them if I ever get around to taking it to a track/HPDE.
I pulled off the driver's side rear panel from my 2022 Mach 1 and it looks like I might be missing a panel clip/push pin? There are a few empty spots for the white panel clips, but only one seems to line up with a hole in the sheet metal. My panel only has 2 installed, but there is a hole in...
FS: (4) 2022 Mach 1 original wheels, $700. Very good condition, no curb rash with one minor scratch on one spoke (see photos) and one paint defect (see photos). Two wheels are 19"x9.5" and two wheels are 19" x 10". Includes factory TPMS sensors and center caps. Local pickup preferred but...
They do not require any modifications to the hood. They are functional in that they will still let heat out from the engine bay, at least on the passenger side (driver's side hood blanket doesn't have an opening due to the open-air filter). They use the 2 forward bolts of the factory vents...
Installed the FP hood vents and white vinyl M1 decal. Debated getting the vents painted GBM to match the body but left them black to match the hood stripe.
Pretty good. You can tell a difference between the foam around the spokes of the wheel, but no issues getting every moved over. Carbon and leather look and feel great.
I had a hard time deciding as well, but I found the Carismo site, and they had the matte fiber with blue stitching and blue center line, so I had to get it, lol!
My car doesn't list a heated steering wheel as an option, it is a 600A with cloth Recaros, but when I was removing the stock wheel, I...
I ordered this display model from Carismo since they had it on sale: https://carismodesign.com/collections/ford-mustang-s550-2018-refresh/products/display-demo-ford-mustang-s550-2018-refresh-sport-matte-carbon-smooth-leather-blue
Absolutely nothing wrong with it that I can see, very happy with...
Finally got around to bedding in new pads with the new 2-piece rotors. Since I autocross the car I went with HP+ pads from Hawk Performance. Not the best lighting in the garage, but they look so much better than the corroded stock rotors. Next up are new 4S tires to replace the original Cup...
Got some goodies delivered today. Installed the overflow tank cover, then fought with the front rotors to free them from the hubs. Still need to work on the rears, hopefully they'll be easier, but also need to get some anti-seize so the new parts don't do the same thing.
