Getting the car's oil changed plus getting its battery checked...again for the third or fourth time from ford.

oil change done, ford said my car has nothing wrong even after I told them that I had to jump start my car before they came to pick it up. They told me they will not change out the battery under warranty unless the battery is dead. I should have waited till they showed up and have them have to jumpstart my car.

Funny reading that tail of the dragon stuff, I actually drove it without even really knowing on my way to trade in my first Mach 1 for my current Mach 1 in Georgia. Was fun to compare back to back how a stock Non-HP car compares to a stock HP car, but man do people fly on there! Even in “regular traffic”. Never experienced anything like it, as I live in Illinois and it’s all flat out here.

Installed my new VMP radiator overflow tank. Nice part, nice fit. Getting the old bottom hose off was a PITA but the kit includes a new fitting with a quick disconnect for the bottom so future removal will be a breeze. Slightly smaller than OEM so it also has a slightly smaller capacity. Uses OEM cap. Overall, very happy.

Its definitely a challenge, especially when the speed limit was 55 MPH :) Those were the days. 55 is a LOT in sections of it LOL... It is highly publicized, there are actually better roads in the area that are WAY less traveled and more fun, but being able to get pro pictures on the ride is really cool, if a bit expensive :). I always patronize the photographers when I go to support what they do day in and day out.. And I print and frame a few once in a while for some garage art :)

Why would you go with this tank if it is smaller capacity? Isn't it better to go with bigger, hence better cooling?
In terms of looks it is great.

Its just an overflow tank for when the fluid expands and contracts with temps. Slight changes in the capacity of it wont effect cooling.

Sorry, I had to double-back and check the order guides.

2021: 4G hotspot standard. Associated with AT&T service and subscription.
2022: Same as 2021.
2023: Same as before. However, option 17W (2023 only) would remove it.

I attempted to find a quick pricing guide, but could not. IDK what 17W cost.

None of the chassis # I've been tracking have option 17W listed.

So I guess I got it on my 2022?? I don't see the need to look for it even though I have AT&T.

I suppose the ultimate confirmation is the window sticker. This is what I've found:

2021: listed in the functional equipment section of the 2021 order guide, all Mustangs, Page 1.

2022: listed under the EcoBoost functional equipment section only.

2023: under the functional equipment section of all Mustangs. Option 17W (delete) is listed, all Mustangs.

A common concern at the time was discrepancies in order guides and at the Ford web site. The differences between guides for this feature is confirmation of that.

I checked my window sticker. I appear to have that feature. 2022.

I've never studied it until now. IDK what it would have cost if the owner continued with the subscription.

We all expressed concern about the order guides, web site and the like when buying our cars. The differences noted above are confirmation of that.

And on my window sticker it looks like I paid for them to remove it, lol.
