You never know who’s watching nowadays. They even have so many different police cars with ghost markings on them. Last thing a guy/gal wants to do is challenge one.

The police in my town are converting all of their markings to the ghost decals and the county sheriff has already done it with their vehicles. Even the light bars are super thin now, so it’s hard to differentiate between light bar and roof rack now. Only clear indicator left is the license plates.

I'd be able to spot that black s650 cop easy. I think i've seen 2-3 on the road total around me. Most are still sitting on lots so i would know something is fishy around me. I wonder if the cop trim still comes with the drift brake.... Imagine all those screens in the cop car. The ipads on the dash and a laptop mounted. Geez.... lol

One thing that drives me nuts about my car.

Unless I'm crawling away from the stoplight it always sounds like I'm trying to race. The high revs of the coyote matched with the exhaust and supercharger....anything above Grandma crawling away from a light will sound like I'm giving it a go.

You know how people sometimes switch lanes and go behind the car they think is gonna leave the light faster? I live to disappoint them 😂😂
This. Lol. My cars loud and nasty sounding as hell. Sometimes I'll even give them a rev. Then they peel out and I leave the light like grandma on the way to church. Don't get me wrong, I beat the living shit out of my car and bounce off the rev limiter daily, but only in a safe area. Deers are my biggest worry about speeding in my area. They are everywhere.

"We are here to protect and serve and are easy to identify."

Meanwhile they put ghost stickers on and fund their budget. That photo is from Houston, and where I live.

I 100% support the cops. Hell I AutoX at their facility at least once a month. But these ghost cars are nothing but a money grab.

Even worse are the people who won't line up. They either want to run from you as fast as they can, weaving through traffic, or only punch it when they are 2-3 cars in front of, or behind you.

Let's get away from traffic a little bit, by either getting out in front of everyone, or let some people pass, get side by side, and then make a clean run of it.

Ran an older guy in a supercharged Fox a while back, he knew what was up. Let everyone get a good bit in front of of us, looked over, counted to three, and boom.

Why bother almost anything on the road is faster, so yeah let's all act like we are turning down races to be responsible, but we all know we do it because we are afraid of getting embarrased. Yes i do own a mustang so i know what i am talking about, they make great noise but off the line they are slow.

Nah. Out here it's definitely fear of punishment. Mustang, P1, 918, don't matter.

20mph over gets you a Reckless, 6 months driving suspension, 6 points on driving record, and permanent non-expungable criminal record. And for several counties thats minimum punishment. If they even sniff or believe it was a race Just bend over and prepare your anus.

That being said I still take a pull here or there. But it ain't every weekend or even every month. and it won't be for some riced out WRX either 😂

I agree, I don't want the citation. At my age, the police and traffic judge would tell me I should know better. And I sure as heck don't want my car impounded.

Proper road race etiquette includes keeping both hands visible on the steering wheel and not resisting during your arrest.

Just because I have a giant wing and sponsor stickers on the car from the last 3 days of racing on a closed course doesnt mean I want to race you in your walmart sweatpants on your sport bike in downtown traffic.

Its usually the bikes who want to prove something it seems.

I've owned crotch rockets my whole life and it sucks because those idiots make the responsible riders look like shit. We call them squids. Because flip flops and a t shirt ain't protecting you from shit.
