Is it normal for these cars to have a little vibration to them above 4k? Driving around town under 4 its silky smooth. But once oil temp his 180 degrees I like to drive a little bit higher in the the rev range. However once above 4k I get a little vibration through the shifter and sometimes clutch pedal. Nothing bad but it is there. That normal for these voodoo engines? 45k miles btw.

I don't have any vibration, mine is a 2019 with 11,850 on the clock.

Mine didn't vibrate but above 7800 tended to get "buzzy" if that makes sense.

The car always vibrates. Open the hood and watch the coolant lines under idle. It's stunning. I guess I just pay attention and if it gets worse, take it in.

No out if the ordinary vibrations for my 2017 gen 1 engine either. 46k on it so similar mileage to yours as well.

Yeah buzzy is a ood word for it. Its not always there just in the upper rpms. Its nothing bad just kinda annoying.

Flat plane engine will vibrate. It's one of it's 'drawbacks'. I would imagine after extended use, things will start to vibrate more. My fix = roll down the windows. active exhaust ON

Does the car have any mods? The Voodoo vibration is well controlled from the factory (you won't really feel it) but there are lots of ways for aftermarket parts to cancel out the factory vibration control.

you don't feel it but if there's a frequency that you can't feel that consistently vibrates, eventually something is going to give.

I have 40k miles on mine, stainless works headers, 20 inch wheels and FP springs. Just today I ran it up to 7k partial throttle in 2nd and 3rd gear a few times trying to recreate a pop I am getting from the exhaust on shift. Not sure what is the sweet spot to get it to bark.

I distinctly noticed how smooth it was, despite losing the dampening from the factory headers. No vibration. Felt like a sewing machine.

When cold, I do get piston slap, but even then it’s more of an audible thing than a feel in the car.

Vibration is bad for these cars. If mine was vibrating, I would definitely be hunting for it and hoping it was a wheel or suspension problem.

Do what you can to verify what the issue is while it hasn’t become catastrophic. It may just be a bushing or something. But you should know.

The car isnt vibrating. No resonance from the center console or anything. Just a little buzz while my hand is on the shifter and slightly from the clutch pedal. And its not all the time.. usually around 5k+ rpm while pushing the car. Most people tell me thats just voodoo life.

Very hard to tell if it’s just slight buzz. It is not a polished motor in any way. I have horrible piston slap noise 3/4k rpm when less than 170 degree oil temps. Sounds like the engine is beating itself to death.

If you can’t hear it, it’s not shaking the car, and it’s just a slight vibration through the wheel at certain rpm, it’s probably nothing. These motors are noisy and quirky. Now that you noticed it, just keep an eye on it. If it doesn’t get worse, it doesn’t get worse.

Could also be the shifter buzz that has been noted many times on here. Do a search for that and see if that matches your issue. This is specific to the shifter vs. shifter & clutch however.
