I run the AZ850 265/35r20 & 285/40r20Dr the hook great no issues, they are a little hard first thing in the morning though
What psi are you running? I have just a few mods, and these things are absolute garbage for me. 285/35/19s.

I had a set of Atturo AZ 850’s
and they worked great for me. I tried to get a replacement set and my local Discount Tire said they were discontinued and no longer available. I think they just wanted me to buy one of their usually brands. I’d buy another set of AZ 850’s in a heartbeat. Great mileage, rode great, no road noise, and had great traction ( for my uses anyway). Never a problem with wet roads. Go for them! Small price, great service. I think I paid just of $100 each, plus installation, etc. ordered online, dellivered in two day, but that was a couple of years ago. My were stock size, 255/40/19.
I had the exact same thing happen to me at Discount Tire. They claimed that the Atturo's were no longer available along with about 3 other lower price tires. Finally we got to the Nitto's which are pretty expensive and are not that good of a tire now. I have had 2 occasions where the Nitto's would not balance and they had to order more. Since I daily drive mostly on the interstate, I went with the Atturo 850Z the last time and so far, they seem to work really good especially for the money.

They did this to me as well. I had to go through priority tire and order them separately. I gave DT 3 chances, and they screwed it up every time. I even called the manufacturer to confirm. Wouldn’t give them business.

Grandfather told me to never compromise and spend good money on

tires
Socks

find it funny they both assist in the movement of something 🤷🏻‍♂️

I buy Michelins. I did once go with some Yokohamas on an older daily driver as times were tough. They were solid but is my only contribution to any "non Michelin" decisions

After I bought my '22 I swapped out the factory tires and rims with the Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S+ 265/35 R20 99Y XL from Discount Tire for the rain and occasional snow we get here in western Washington. Love 'em!

I have Falken Azenis FK510s on my car. They aren't bargain basement but are cheaper than the Contis or Michelins. I have zero complaints for wet and dry traction, handling and ride quality.

Obviously, every Discount Tire location will be different (different management, employees, etc.). I’ve been going to my local DT store for over 25 years and have never had an issue getting what I want and have never been pressured to buy anything other than what I want. Try ordering online from their website and then have them installed at your local store. Their website has most everything (they still haven’t posted the Conti ECS02 in 305/35/19 even though they’re available through TireRack now and on Conti’s website) and then you don’t have to deal with a store employee trying to sell you what you don’t want. Just figured I’d throw it out there.

I actually tried that route. The first guy told me it was ordered and will be here in a week. Turned out to be false. Even told me he had tracking. Then I was told the manufacturer no longer makes them. Confirmed that was a lie. So I called a different one. Same experience. So I went back to tire discounters, they always take care of me.

Wow, that sucks. I’d report those stores to corporate if I were you (if you care that much, sounds like you have a better shop to go to anyways).

I just took the minivan to Discount this morning. They didn't have anything in stock that I wanted, so I ordered some Continentals, had them delivered to the store and made an appointment to get them installed. Piece of cake!

I do feel, however, that Discount's sales people seem to push certain tires. Not 100% sure why but maybe they make more money off certain tires, maybe they are incentivized to push house brand/model tires...but I almost always know what I want when I go in. Unless they're a big price cut to be had.

So, looking at Costco. Pricing is a bit better. Entire set of Firestone Firehawk AS V2 for $872 isn’t bad.

set of 4 Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 for $1247. Installed price.

And yes, I know I’m looking at All Season tires. This is for my daily driver Ecoboost, and need solid rear round tread for living in the panhandle of Texas. Lots of different weather conditions.

Discount has started charging $25 per tire for install, plus more for warranties. The guy there said they’ve always charged for that, but I’m not sure it’s been that much. They sure didn’t offer any discounts or talk about tires on sale. I mean, they’re friendly, I just don’t feel like they work with you as much as they used to.

'18 Ecoboost Premium convertible here.
I have Continental PureContact LS all seasons on mine. I put them on looking for longevity after going through 3 sets of P-zeros very quickly. They have been on about 4 years now And you can still clearly read the DWS in the tread. It's my daily. The first year and a half I was driving 60 miles round trip 5 days a week plus eveningjoy rides and weekend trips. The last 2 1/2 years It's still our go-to car unless we have to move the grandkids or the dogs but it's obviously not driven as much. Evening joy rides are now joined by weekly day trips and extended weekend trips. Honestly, without actually measuring the tread, I can't really say they have worn much. I do not race or track them but do take them to the mountains to play. Their handling exceeds my nerve/skill level.
All that to say for a dd Ecoboost I'm not sure you need the highest performance tire, just a really good one that lasts.
