2020 GT manual trans keeps kicking me out of sports plus mode

I just noticed today anytime I go to go into sport plus mode it shows the icon but then just put me into sport mode. Like just sitting there in the parking lot I went to go to sport plus. Just kicked me back to sport mode. No codes, no engine light no freaking clue. I can find information online about it doing it to 10 speed cars, but I haven’t found anything on manual cars and what’s causing it. Honestly, just hoping it goes away tomorrow. If anybody’s run into this, let me know.

It’s happened once with me (2022 Mustang GT with A10.) I just unplugged the battery for half an hour. it stopped after I hooked it back up and hasn’t happened since.

It’s a software glitch. I personally don’t know what causes it, but unplugging the battery for an extended period of time seems to fix it. I haven’t heard it happening to anyone with a manual, but then again I haven’t looked for it either, Mainly happens with the 10r80 crowd

Maybe on auto but on manual cars there is only one Sport mode.

I was talking about the issue in general, not about what he was saying.

The issue for the auto crowd was that when you put the car in park and back in drive, the drive mode would change. Not really sure how that would happen with manual.

No there’s 2 on certain models, forget if it’s with the performance pack or the premium package it comes with. It shows it going into sport+ changes the to it and then goes right back to sport.

No there’s 2 on certain models, forget if it’s with the performance pack or the premium package it comes with. It shows it going into sport+ changes the to it and then goes right back to sport.

My Bullitt is both a PP1 and Premium pack, and I don't have 2 different Sport settings.

Nope. Premium cars have mode switch and you might be confusing Traction control sport setting with driving mode, modes available for auto cars or icon displayed while switching modes with the icon that displayed once you switch the mode.

Either way, you car is fine.

My Bullitt is both a PP1 and Premium pack, and I don't have 2 different Sport settings.

Mine is an auto so maybe different, but my Mach 1 doesn't have "normal." It has Sport, Sport +, Track, Drag Race, and Wet/Snow.

mine has everything except the track pack and magnetic ride. It has normal, sport +, track, drag, and wet/snow
