No, there shouldn't be. I guess if you take into account having more/less traction in the different modes, your times may vary slightly. But there are no changes in power and at wot, the changes in the throttle mappings go out the window - though I think Sport+ and Track have the same throttle mapping anyway.
They don't. Track is slightly different.

But to your point - I had one auto-x run in normal mode :) because I simply forgot to switch it to track :) Didn't get the time as the timing equipment did not work (got a re-run) but didn't seem much different going WOT.

what does it mean when you are in sports mode and have launch control active you see a LC in the instrument panel. If you turn the traction control off in sport mode you get a message saying launch control not active when traction control off and the LC is replaced by an RPM in the instrument panel

sport mode is available in premium models(be it eco or GT)...it changes your throttle response...and some othe shit... but its awesome... it brings out different personality of your car
you premium guys have some nice fluff.

Possible all the premium modes create an issue for mod/tuning?

I tried for several minutes to switch t/c off while in Sport. The base only lets you turn t/c off or on. If you turn it off the same button double tapped does not put it in sport mode, it turns it back on and then back off....but if you double tap the button and put it in sport mode you cant hit the button again to turn off T/C because it will turn off sport mode. So in my car a Base GT, I drive it and track it in Sport Mode. I have no f-ing idea what the black mystery boxes are actually doing after today but I'm afraid to turn everything off now that I am used to it in Sport. If in fact the T/C is intervening in Sport Mode someone needs to buy the programmers at Ford a  because it is not detectable except when it stepped out on me because yes I just figured it out as I typed this. It would have to use T/C to straighten the car out
I think base GT "sport" is just steering feel.

No Sport Mode (allows extra yaw) steering mode is separate button. I wish I had track mode. I just shut of everything because Sport stops the car going through the corners, literally pulls me out of my seat. Everything off is worth about a full second at Thompson Speedway's 1.7 mile Road Course.

Yes, the TC button has 3 modes. TC ON, advance track, sport advance track.

The steering button is just steering feel.

First off, I believe someone earlier was asking about these modes as they pertain to the PP. There is nothing different in regards to these modes between a PP and non-PP car as far as I know. The only difference is between a Premium and non-Premium.

In any case, In my GT Premium (6-speed manual) I would say I use Normal about 75% of time although I do find myself clicking to sport+ here and there when I'm feeling frisky. There is a much more noticeable change in throttle mapping between Normal and Sport + than there is between Sport + and Track in my opinion. That being said, I do still think there is a little something extra with Track over Sport + (talking throttle mapping here, not stability, traction).

I do have to mention the one mode that hasn't really been talked about much and that's the Rain/Snow mode. Personally, there's no way I would drive this car in the snow (especially with the 20" summer tires!) but I do drive it in the rain obviously. I played around with it the other day in Rain/Snow mode and was blown away at how well the system worked. It kept everything completely in check. I purposely tried to nail it around a wide corner and it kept the car perfectly straight while applying as much power as was safe at the time. Very impressed!

I do have one question though to anyone who's running a tune on their car (specifically with the GT PRemium cars). How does the tune get applied to the 4 modes? Do all 4 modes still work? Does the tune get applied to only 1 of the modes and then the other 3 modes default to the factory tuning/ mapping? Can you get 4 different tunes for each setting? Sorry for all the questions but I've been curious about this...

I forgot to ask Greg at Lund about this. FWIW, sport still feels much stronger than normal, and track stronger yet.
