Unfortunately my car was backed into. Thankfully the guy who did it came clean, but my door will need body work plus, what I am assuming is a full repaint. Complicating this with a Mach 1 are the side stripes. Do you guys know where to go to get the ford OEM stripes? I see aftermarket kits that mimimic OEM but if the dimensions or materials match isn’t 100% perfect it’ll show up when it’s right next to the fender and rear quarter stripes. So yeah any of you know where I can get real Ford ones when the time comes? Thanks!

They are provided on order, you should check with dealerships. The only thing is they are crazy expensive when OEM from Ford. If I am not mistaken it was something like 800 EUR (here in Europe) for the side stickers and about 1300 EUR for the hood stripe.

I expect them to be pricey but I’d be shocked if they were that pricey here in the states. Anyone here have experience ordering them in the states?

Sorry I can't help with details, but I do know the OEM hood stripe is ridiculously expensive but also high quality with the textured matt finish. Side stripes are available in complete sets from the aftermarket but, if Insurance is paying, do it right. There's no such thing as minor body repair any more when painting is involved. .

Any reputable body shop will have access to get the OEM stripes and they will include them in the estimate. With them most likely having to blend the paint, they may have to go into the fender, so that would mean a new mach 1 badge too.

After looking closely at your pic, is that paint damage on the fender or just dirt? It's right next to the damage on the door.

It was dirt but it turned out my fender was slightly warped. They reshaped it and the door. Frankly a place like Calibre should’ve replaced the door. In the right light at the right angle you can just see that the line on the door isn’t perfect. Also there’s a new wind noise but I am hoping it’s just a window seal that is rubbing since they didn’t have to realign the door. I am getting the stripe put back on Wednesday as well as getting the new seal. Haven’t been that impressed with this calibre but if they fix the wind noise it’s good enough.

Yea they are pricey. I had to get my front fender repainted due to someone dropping a rock off an overpass. You have to buy all 3 side stripes, I only needed the short one on the fender. They were $750 Canadian from the dealer. The good thing is, I got to keep the other 2 incase I need them in the future.
