Like many of y’all I bought stripes from them back in 2016 no problems. Over Christmas I decided to buy a new set but didn’t get around to finishing it until last month. They didn’t respond to either of their big worm email accounts and I only finally got a response when I emailed their RPI email. Here was my issue: the nose and the front bumper stripes were approx 6.5 inches wide when the rest of the is 7.5 inches. The ceo, Josh responded promptly to the RPI email and cc’d the email to Ryan who didn’t reply back after the initial email telling me to measure the stripes for him. He only replied back when I sent the email back cc’ing his CEO to him. He told me that the stripes are tapered and the measurement are correct.

here are the photos and you tell me…

Yikes. Someone needs a tape measure. The problem I have now is if they send you just the nose pieces ,the vinyl won't match. I ve seen it happen. Hopefully they send a full kit. Good luck

What did they say about the photos? I mean clearly in the photos there’s a difference in widths between the cuts displayed.

I’m trying to recall on mine but I believe the hood stripe tapered down to the nose so they all lined up

I measured all the pieces for them. They’re all about 6.5 inches from the nose down. They said this was proper fitment as the fronts “taper”. They ghosted me though after I sent them the last photo.

They’re hanging me out to dry as far can tell. Just said to me that it’s normal that the front is tapered. I even measured it for them.

Is it possible the hood stripes are on in the wrong direction and the ends that are currently up by your windshield are narrower?

This is my question...I am wondering if OP installed them based on the way the decal was labelled, rather than measuring. Because it looks like the Top of Front Bumper decal is much closer than the Lower Front Bumper decal. But it could just be perspective.

Big Worm has always been more than great to work with, sorry to hear this.

Here’s mine that I put on my 2016 a few years back. It is tapered down for the nose and front bumper for fit and appearance purposes. I don’t recall if the hood stripes taper down at the nose but everything lined up properly, so it should. I don’t have that car anymore so unfortunately I can’t go out and measure.

I’ll find out if I did have the hood stripe inverted later this evening. They could’ve told me that and it would’ve been much better emotionally. I want to say I recall front and back stickers and put the front side on the nose. Do note, I sent an email to [email protected] and [email protected], the official emails on their contact forms and had NO replies. I had to email [email protected] to finally get a response.

This is most likely the problem. It's easy to get the direction mixed up. They should probably place an arrow pointing fwd. I know the original shelbys tapered and narrowed the stripes to keep the illusion of even stripe width. I'm currently doing a 66 gt 350H with Painted stripes. Here's a pic of a clone 350 I did with vinyl.

Yeah, it would be smart for them to put an arrow on them for sure. But it sucks they aren't getting back to you. They are sponsors here, it might not hurt to tag them.

Back in 2016 when I messed up part of the install from bubbles and such they replied back asap and quoted me a partial price for just that piece. I miss that. Now it’s like a hurdle to get a response.

I would gladly pay the partial price if they just told me that I may of had it inverted.

anyone with these stripes installed can measure the front for us?

Edit: @BigWormGraphix hasnt been active for 4 years.

I purchased stripes from Big Worm last fall. They are wider at the back of the hood (this is stated in the installation instructions). I have a different style than yours, so measurements won't help you, but the narrow end of the hood stripe goes toward the front, and should be the same width as the bumper and above grill stripes.
Also, I tried to put the stripes on myself, starting with the hood piece, and was unsuccessful (creases, bubbles, etc). So I called Big Worm to get a replacement for the hood. Spoke to a nice lady who got a new piece coming that I received quickly. Maybe you should try calling.

PS- I found a local body shop to put them on.
