UPR Quarter Turn (QT) oil drain valve and UPR Speed Valve comparison - Thoughts??

I actually hadn’t heard of any factory yellow plugs loosening and falling out.

Anyone have the UPR Quater Turn drain valve? (off is up/ parallel to body. Picture is opened position)

Wondering how it compares to the Speed Drain valve.

I bought their new drain valve but couldn't install with my BMR 4 point K mumber brace. Soil went back with OEM drain valve for it is shorter. Good luck

Me either. I safety wire mine only cause I’m a big fat nerd!

No harm at all in doing that for peace of mind.

My reason for liking them as I too have the first gen UPR drain valve was that I can drain a large part of the oil and only when it stops, remove it to drain the final amount. Much cleaner way than pulling the old yellow plug.
