Thanks, cerbomark - I didn’t think to measure the driver side car height vs passenger. Sure enough, the passenger side is about 1/4 higher measuring the bottom of the side skirt to the floor. I’m curious what this implies
and we are practically neighbors. maybe a car coffee day? I also have a 2020.

Ah...I see what you mean. Actually I initially thought you were speaking of the undulation around the stripe in front of the rear tire...which looks extremely odd as well. Not such a great photo angle was it?

Here are some sample pics, below, that I took during my photoshoot today. You can see additional pics in the Ingot Silver thread Snakebyte's 2019 Vert

Nice vert!

Mind if I ask a couple questions?
1) does your rear spoiler hit the antenna when you open your trunk?
2) is it mounted to the trunk with bolts?
3) what brand is it?

That's a beauty. You've inspired me to polish up my exhaust tips. Are yours the stock ones?

Thanks @Hoofer.

The spoiler does NOT hit the antenna. I've heard of others that do.

It is mounted using bolts. The seller provided a template with instructions that worked well. My car came with the blade spoiler, which included mounting holes. Unfortunately the new spoiler was not designed to utilize the original blade spoiler holes, but thankfully the new spoiler fully covered all prior holes.

I got the spoiler off eBay, pre-painted. The company's name has changed over the years but I can tell by the exact same photos that this the company I purchased from: The Spoiler Company I was pleased with their paint application, and it has held up well.

Thanks @LCK22GT

The exhaust tips are integral to the SVE axle-back exhaust I purchased from LMR (Late Model Restoration). Edit...I should not have used the word integral. They came as a set, matched with the muffler, and they clamp on the muffler outlet.

BTW...I still have the suitcase resonator in place, and the sound is moderately louder than stock mufflers. It sounds great, albeit I was hoping they would be even a "little louder" at highway cruising speed. But...frankly I would rather have the level it is than being raspy or boisterous.

The exhaust tips that you notice are not just sheet metal formed. They were surprisingly very high quality for the price of the axle-backs.

I did have to modify (bend) the muffler mounting brackets some to get the exact, desired exhaust tip orientation, relative to the valance opening.

Here's a link to LMR's offering: LMR SVE Axle Back Exhaust

so @skinnyb, did you pull the trigger on new wheels you were considering in the spring? (I know, it's not really spring just yet :)). If so, I'm guessing the wheels may be how folks narrow down which hot rod belongs to you.

No. Life got in the way and I prioritized other things. Mainly the spoiler paint match and my Switch fire....and wengerd tune.

Here's a pic of the clearance between the spoiler and the stock antenna. The pic shows the relationship at its closest point.

Wow, quickest winter wheel/tire change over done at Discount Tire. Home in less than hour with wheels/tires in and out of the car and back in the garage.

Regarding spoilers and antennae: my spoiler clipped the antenna so much that the coiled portion finally broke off. Didn't affect anything. (I use Sirius/XM or Apple Play.)

Did a compression test (throttle fully open) on my 40k mile gen 3 and got:

255/255
269/254
269/251
261/251

Diagnosing an intermittent misfire in cyl 2/8 with a P0012 & P0022 int cam over retard code bank 1/2. It has new phasers, timing chains, VCT solenoids but the intake solenoids are aftermarket and under suspicion to be causing the codes. Will be scanning the PCM next to watch each sensor value. Along with graphing coil pack and fuel injector on 2/8.
Definitely a ton of compression at least

I took the old gal to the touchless car wash, then when I got home I did a clay bar treatment on the horizontal surfaces using Griot's Ceramic Speed Shine.
The hood looked like in had muddy water on it as I was doing it.
I followed it up with a quick coat of Griot's Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax.
The old girl looks the best she has in ages!
