Umm what?

He is trying to tell you should look for a single owner, low miles, stock, garage kept s550 with gen 2 coyote.
Yes

12 page thread. I didn't read it all just the 1st post. I'm guessing the OP bought that car. No worries and good luck either way

I've done some searching and I can't seem to find a replacement filter for the Roush intake....they all reference the whole intake as opposed to just the filter...anybody know if an aftermarket dry K&N would fit or should I stick to searching out a new roush brand one? Also just an upate car goes in this Friday for a dyno and tune, to see how the tune looks and see what kind of power she's making.
So what were the results of your scheduled DYNO @ZLwhat ?

That was supposed to happen a week ago, if I remember correctly.

Yeah well life happens haha, our heat pump went out around that time so we had to get that replaced on the same day i was supposed to get it dynoed. Couldn't hear the wifey complain about being cold while i was all warm at the dyno shop. It is scheduled for this tuesday coming up. Will let you guys know how it goes. I've been driving it through the backroads here, and up top is where it supercharge really shines. I feel like my neighbors A10 ZL1 has a lot more torque throughout the power band but the mustang really shines up top.

If you go for E85 and smaller pulley your car will eat Camaros for breakfast all day long…

I can't go e85 with the stage 2 without going with a new fuel system though, correct?

Fore Innovations Level 2 Return Style Fuel System

You may also need new injectors = FIC 1000

If you go E85, then you will unleash the monster in that car...lol

Far better options out there than fore but they will do the job.

Wasn’t sure if this post was serious or not…my understanding is Fore is the best…by a country mile…
Maybe 10 years ago. Many better options out there.

May I ask what these options are?

Because I have read and heard of many failures amongst other brands, especially recently.
KPM
Arcane
Aeromotive

To name a few.

Fore makes a good product but are by no means the best. Not to mention you really don’t need a return fuel system for E85 and boost. Tuners just push it because it takes more effort to adapt their tunes appropriately to accommodate E85 and boost.

Man, there just seems to be quite a bit of complaints about those other systems, it seems.

If I thought there was a system which was cheaper and just as good as Fore, I would've went that route.

I know for lower boost, you can get by with stock fuel system with a boost a pump and injectors. But for anything over 800 whp I know return style systems are boss.

@beefcake can probably give some wisdom here.

Vendors are going to push Fore 99% of the time too. I’m not disagreeing with the statement that fore is good, they just aren’t the best. Their open bucket design is antiquated at best.

we sell kpm and aeromotive as well. in general we like fore. tried and true, great usa company, almost everything made in house, stands behind everything 100% and it works well.

happy to help with any of them.
