None that I know of, just comparing non modded times. Apples to Apples. I'm sure sooner or later there will be tunes and other mods for the GTD

Honestly at this point we really do not know the GTD's full potential. It could actually be faster then the GT3 but we will need to wait until the Spring for another go at the Ring.

But as far as mods the GTD isn't just another GT to be modded. This is an out of the box racer. The Ring car was specially prepped for this run. Maybe the actual production car will have changes but it is unlikely.

One thing to keep in mind is that you have to applaud Ford’s commitment and approach to making such a track capable car unlike anything else in the sub 7:00 Nurburgring club.

Supercharged, big displacement, cross plane, thundering (I.e. American sounding) V8 motor in the front
50:50 weight distribution
Upright driving position
Menacing front end presence

This GTD will look/sound/drive like nothing else in the super car category on track ! That in itself means more to me, than what a super talented race driver like Dirk Mueller and a trackside race team can put up on the scoreboard for a lap time, IMHO

And Ford should be hopefully beat the AMG GT black series Nurburgring lap time of 6:43. Again a car with a front mounted V8 and 50:50 weight distribution and a transaxle, and likely same curb weight (approx 3,700 lb)
