I see that the product description for most of the lightweight bumper supports say that they don’t provide any protection in the event of a crash. I don’t have a problem retaining the factory crash bar if that’s even possible. Most will use the bmr support. Yes the bumper will be loose in the middle. If you get into a wreck the frame rails will peel like a banana.
I already have the intercooler that was designed for the turbo kit in hand and it’s 6” thick (rated to support 1750 hp). It‘s a very solid piece too. I weighed it and it’s 32.2 lbs. front end is gonna be heavy with everything installed (maybe 120 lbs or so).Wouldn't a good quality 4" intercooler provide enough cooling for your build? I would think paired with the nitrous you'd be all set.
Virtually any aftermarket crash bar will provide a good bit more protection than running no crash bar at all. But I don’t blame the aftermarket manufacturer for saying that since they don’t want any liability.I see that the product description for most of the lightweight bumper supports say that they don’t provide any protection in the event of a crash. Yes, but I am away this week and did not bring my laptop. But, I did post them in my FI Interchiller thread if you want to look that thread up.Do you have a pic of it?

Thanks WD! Some good ideas are exactly what I need.@NGOT8R - the Steeda replacement bar uses all four bolts on each side (i.e. it will help to stop the chassis legs from peeling open on the ends).
@DougS550 - When you say the left and right supports that are low down, are you referring to the front ends of the subframe ?
@NGOT8R - If Doug says yes, I might have something that could at least start your train of thought going
