What did you do to your Mach 1 today

I originally got mine for my PP GT but I did swap over to my Mach 1. My Mach 1 is actually not a HP car, but dressed to look like one (has the HP wheels with HP sizes), but I don't anticipate having to use much and if I do, won't be for very long or very far... I did use Forscan to go in and reprogram the BCM to the correct tire size...

That's a known problem if the spare is 155/70, it is bit bigger and doesn't fit into the trunk well very nicely and then touches the trunk floor.

It does, once you oil it a bit (which is what AA suggested in the enclosed info sheet, but I was too suspicious to do).

Now that I’m driving the M1 daily I sure miss my tune from the “19. Don’t get me wrong, I love this car and it’s never going anywhere but the shift points for the transmission are just so different now that I am driving it daily compared to the other one. First thing I’m doing when I get to Florida is putting a tune on it. I’ve got plenty of time to decide who it’s going to be.

I'm with you on this. My '18 GT had the A10 and the ford performance tune. It was quick, very responsive, and the transmission shifting went from bad to pretty good. My new to me '23 M1 feels sluggish in comparison in all except WOT. Must be that factory regular gas tune. Changing that is top of my to do list!

So beware to all you guys with tunes... today I took mine for inspection at the dealer after reflashing back to stock, and according to the video from my FitcamX, they kept losing communication with the car and every module had a code when they were trying to do the brake fluid light recall and the emission inspection. They couldn't figure it out and were wondering if I had it flashed somewhere else, if they did it at the previous visit, etc. I reached out to Livernois asking about the emission "not ready" issue, but in the meantime @engineermike pointed out in another thread that the car needs to drive a while under various conditions to reset after a flash. I only had about 40 miles on the stock tune before taking it in today.

Just make sure you get the right one. If you have a regular mach 1 then order the mach 1 or the PP1 spare, if you have an HP mach, then get the GT350 spare. There is enough difference in tire height between the two that if you get the wrong one you can damage the torsen diff if you put it on the rear.

Thanks for this! Since I rotate wheels of differing sizes, I will make sure the rears will always match in size. I just rotated to my winter/spring set (oem) so the spare is perfectly matched to the rear.

Laid down some contrast on the hood today. It's just a tad crooked but not really noticeable unless you stare at it for a few minutes. It gives the Mach 1 name quite a pop that I like. Got the whole kit to do the fender badges and deck lid badge too but I'm on the fence about those. Hardest part was polishing off the ceramic coating in that area and cleaning it so it would stick good
