I had been using Meg's Gold Class basically until I got the CarPro soaps. I had some "affairs" trying a couple others but never liked them much. I think at some point we all used Dawn to wash a car lol. I remember seeing that Armor All on the shelf but I always bought Meg's products when I was a teenager.

I think the weirdest or most unique solution I used was the Mr Clean AutoDry Car Wash System:

I really liked the small, easy to use water filter system. The soap in the kit was uh, not great.

I posted this earlier, but I was curious how Pan would go about the continuation of his channel now that he has a financial stake in the industry. As in, how would he continue making product review videos when he now has a very firm bias.

Well, his 2024 Awards video went live in the last day, I guess we now know.............................................



Naturally, he is going to positive about his own products, but the inclusion in this years awards just comes off as a giant marketing advertisement timed to align with his brand launch. And I suppose that is his job now, no longer reviewing other brands products, but advertising his own. He is of course right to do so, but to do it so soon, it's very hard to see any integrity in his actions.

I'm not the only one to feel this way, the 1000+ comments under the video above are tearing him to shreds. For a long time now, many have questioned his integrity, especially after trying to cover up a 5 figure paid promotion of Turtle Wax range. Well, this stunt is cementing that sentiment.

This was always going to happen. And the reason why he waited until he had the 1 million subscribers.

I suspect I know who will be partnered to distribute these products, but I really don't want to be involved.

I can see it both ways and even he says it “damned if you do, damned if you don’t”. But, as he’s always said…these are his “opinions”.
If it were me I would’ve waited a few months for other reviewers to give their opinions…or left my own brand out of it while explicitly stating “here are my favorite brands besides my own”.

Hey, I have a lot but I have 2 Acid soaps I have used both, I do like Descale better than KCx Reactivation Shampoo. They both work though I'm slowly whittling my stock down, I have my favorites now, but I had to experiment LOL...

I don't know if there is any commercial affiliation between DS and THOR, or not.
Cross promotion suggests there might be.

I'm prepared to try a few of the Pan products.
If they prove to better bang for buck, great, if not I won't touch them again.

Anyway, she definitely needed a bath lots of the forbidden rainbow soup coming off the wheel areas

The more I think about it the more I agree he definitely screwed the pooch by not allowing other reviewers time to get their opinions out before selfishly promoting his own brand in what is essentially his most watched “annual best of” posting.

He would’ve been better off saying “here’s my top picks from everyone else and now that you’ve heard that, I challenge you try my product and see if you think they’re better, cause I do”.

Yeah that was my dilemma today. I knew it was going back in the garage and I have a show to go to next Saturday and won't have time to clean it this week... So wash in the rain it was LOL Will have to touch up the interior bits Saturday morning but that won't take but a few minutes... Only started raining after I foamed for the second time and was starting the contact wash. So I only had to wipe down, rinse, blow dry (excercise in futility LOL) and then I put my stuff away real quick so I could pull inside to apply Amplify and finish drying off... Then rinse out my buckets, etc and clean up. Good to go, put to bed for the work week

That’s a fair criticism in my opinion. Hopefully he releases another one and leaves his products out. Put them in next year if he wants to show how they stack up against others. He basically said “I’ve been testing my products for over year so I know how they are compared to these others”. He really should’ve done a side by side like he’s done with other products.
