In the process of attempting to improve my own detailing game, I'm referring to the information in this topic, a lot.
With DFB's blessing, here is a cut 'n pasted pdf version of Deyon's first post.
I do like to have a hard copy of some things in front of me for reference.
If you like to burn...
FYI...
Bilt-Hamber have a new version of Touch-Less.
pH is now 10.5, and it's concentration has been increased.
PAN released this new video 19 hours ago.
Interestingly, and despite the high pH, this is supposedly ok with waxes, paint sealants and ceramic coatings.
I see what you mean Deyon.
$244 for 1L of the yellow colourant is absurd.
Thanks for taking the time to post those sample images.
Appreciate it.
Not a issue.
The problem with our long wait times.... you over-think things whilst waiting for the new toy to arrive. đź•°
I have an Oxford White S650 on order.
I'm also looking at getting a foam cannon.
I might be over-thinking this, but how hard is it to see the foam coverage over a white car?
Is a stoopid idea to put a tiny amount of food colouring to make the foam more obvious?
Or is there a product...
This "feature" is well described in this video.
Might be worthwhile to wait for the "Job 2" production run of these new bottles! :giggle:
Edit:
After watching that video, I see future problems with this bottle quick-release.
Looks like the manufacturer has taken the opportunity to build in...
I did not know that!
Only just getting into this sort of thing.
I guess this is nice to have, considering the BF302 cannot adjust the foam plane 90°, like with the MTM.
About the only points of difference between these two cannons, from my potential-new-purchaser POV is;
• Griot's stainless...
Timing!
Thanks for the heads up, Deyon.
I had all but made my mind up on a Griot's Garage BF302 The Boss foam cannon, simply because of the bottle's wide mouth.
Agonising Agonizing decision, because the MTM (second place, on a photo finish) is commonly available down under in package...
From what I'm reading on other Forums, ETIS was decommissioned in recent months.
Other than a blank white page, it returns a "Not found" error message.
Is there an alternative?
Previous forecasts have suggested the AUD should strengthen against the greenback in the later part of this year, into early 24.
This article is dated, but here's hoping!

Yes, I saw that.
"Two screws", no kidding.
I don't waste much of my time on that Forum anymore, aside from the occasional peek, depending on who's posted. It's noticeably more old school "bogan".
The Forum software there itself has been obsolete since 2009.
You might not think much of that in...
This will be my first Mustang, so I don't know if Aussie S550s had exactly the same rear plate screw hole locations in the sheet metal vs the 'Merican model.
However, these photos reveal there is also central set of screw mount points.
You'd hope Aussie slimline plates will hide the upper set...
Would love to, but that's a bit awkward, it's boxed away along with my slimline CUSTOM plates... ready for my S650s arrival. (Yep, I got in early!)
Pretty much as the photo on the product page.
No, they are not cheap shitty made-in-China plastic crap.
As per the production description, the...
