LOL I will be sure to mess with him some. I don't have too many reasons to bug him right now. I am just playing the waiting game at this point.

Had some trouble removing the stock starter cover I see?Got the car detailed and PPF’d last week. The SA hood is much more labor intensive than the stock one due to the extra vents and the fact that they’re not removable like the center vent is. Lots of curves and little sections that need to be shaped and trimmed. I also installed the “go like hell start button today.

Love the look of the start button. Interesting that the hood vents aren’t removable, I’m sure that made PPF a little more challenging. Car looks fantastic, enjoy it!Got the car detailed and PPF’d last week. Yeah I was a little surprised they're not removable as well. I think it just simplifies the manufacturing process for them.Love the look of the start button. Interesting that the hood vents aren’t removable, I’m sure that made PPF a little more challenging. Car looks fantastic, enjoy it!
Thanks for the advice and the picture. I’ll try when I get home from my current work trip.Hi David. I noticed your button is not seated all the way. Give it a good push until the LED is flush inside the hole of the start button. Here is mine for an example. Car is looking good buddy!

Do as I say, not as I do..... It will save you a lot of money, haha. Thanks for the advice and the picture. I’ll try when I get home from my current work trip.
And stop giving me ideas with all the carbon in that picture![]()

Thankfully only forum type people will notice thoseDo as I say, not as I do..... It will save you a lot of money, haha.
Although..... it would hide the blemishes around that start button![]()
Unless you’re squirreling away a set of the louvered glass you’re SOL. They stopped making them over a year ago.Thankfully only forum type people will notice those. I have thought about those carbon pieces before, but they’re low on my list. The x-pipe and and louvered quarter window glass are currently at the top.
yeah, unfortunately. I’m hoping a set magically pops up somewhere, but I’m not holding my breath.Unless you’re squirreling away a set of the louvered glass you’re SOL. They stopped making them over a year ago.
Yep, I have them on my car and hope I never have to replace them.yeah, unfortunately. I’m hoping a set magically pops up somewhere, but I’m not holding my breath.
Parts Farm and Midway Mustang are probably your best bets in finding them off of a wrecked car. I’ve seen them pop up on eBay from various sellers every now and then. They don’t last long and the prices are usually ridiculous.yeah, unfortunately. I’m hoping a set magically pops up somewhere, but I’m not holding my breath.
