Except I'm getting the stripes from a 3rd party, way less then fords prices. Also I am still up in the air about the side stripes, for now I plan to get them, but I am still second guessing the side stripes.

I got no stripes on mine. My yellow gt350 has the black ones to break up the yellow but with the black hood vent I don't think the gt500 needs stripes. Some people prefer them but I have always been against them because growing up in Ford dealerships every mustang had them and it was nothing special, just another package. I think the stripes should be reserved for true performance cars. I mean they are called Racing Stripes for a reason right?

I used to be so against racing stripes that when my parents saw my gt350 they asked if I was having the stripes removed and when I said no they asked if I was a replacement kid.

I kept going back and forth on my GT350 OW with blue stripes vs Kona with white stripes. It's a close call for me but I am going to stick with OW like the GT350.
