Seeing as MP as a low volume one year color, it's possible that's the only MP KR out there. Don't know if that justifies the price though. Anyone remember what the last low mile KR went for at one of the major auctions?

This one definitely went through Shelby, you can see the wide body on it. It's most likely a KR or Signature Edition; the pics are terrible, but it appears to have the 3 vent hood. Very high price. but super rare color and low mileage.

I knew the guru would have the answer. I forgot it was to fit under the strut tower brace.

I don't remember 100%, but I think Shelby American lowered the engine mounts when they built my KR. I believe the Whipple is taller than the GT500 factory supercharger. @Jmeo would probably know. IIRC, he has a KR hood on his Signature Edition paired with a Whipple, and he's a far smarter man...

Well I finally took the old girl to the dyno today. Not super ideal temps, 85+, but she still put down 918HP crank, 760HP to the wheels. Not too bad. I’m going to go later this year when it cools down to see if she’ll do anymore on the stock tune.

I totally get that. I would have considered it, except I got the regular "non Shelby" branded version direct from MMR a a few months ago. I think having the Shelby logo on a part you can't see unless you're up on the lift is a bit much.

IIRC, it had something to do with the clearance between the SE hood and the Whipple supercharger Shelby put on his car. I think they were painting and putting on a KR hood. But that's what I vaguely remember JMEO saying a few months ago on the thread. I'm probably mis-remembering.

Well this is definitely not a Mustang, but I thought it was interesting enough to post. I was down at a holiday toy drive car show yesterday and all manner of vehicles showed up. But the 2 most interesting ones to me were the immaculately restored Bentley and the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
