Moderators;

Is there any way this can be cleaned up and transferred over to Mustang 7G and have a GTD category created?

Thank you.

I imagine the ownership ordering kit will look something like this (if they do one)

A GTD is so far out of my league. I'll live vicariously through you as I have done with your GT500. Please post the snot out this adventure when it arrives.

I'd have to take out a 30 year mortgage to buy this car.

Tom, I hope you get one.
Most of it is sitting in my checking account as reserve cash for a major project going on (that I wont be needing). The rest will probably come from some accounts I've been playing around with that have appreciated nicely. That will have a tax implication however. The ballance should be a small loan.

How much do you all suspect it will cost to insure a thing like this? Maybe similar to a GT?

First things first. I want more info about the car.

I suppose that depends on the VIN.

I'm thinking it would be equivalent to a Ferrari policy

I use Hagerty for my performance vehicles and I know they cover exotics as well.

I did a quick search and a thread over at the GT forum (from back in 2013) said it was about 2k per year. There was another reference to a member over there who works for another insurance company that gets good rates as well. So with inflation and such, I'm expecting in the neighborhood of 3k per year.

However I dont know for sure.
