I do like the wheels on the 60th package. I’m with others, why are they only 9” wide?? I know they’re appealing to a wider audience than us but at least put 9.5’s with 275’s on it. GT’s are approaching 500hp, a 245 or 255 tire ain’t going to cut it. Especially if they’re still using the crappy Pirelli’s.

I'm sure this new model will completely resolve any slower sales of the S650 Mustang from this point forward.

I hope that $4K package comes with new updated Unreal Engine graphics on those awesome Radio Shack screens.

You should work for Ford PR/Marketing. That's how you turn a negative into a positive.

Reinforce positive personal bias ("I do like the wheels"). Check.
Acknowledge negative characteristics ("Why are they only 9" wide??") , and quickly follow with positive reinforcement ("GT's are approaching 500hp"). Check.

Makes me wonder about them actually using "crappy" Pirelli tires.

Really, put in an application for Ford PR. Nicely done. 👏

This thing looks like it was cobbled together from ebay parts.. flat grey and red is not a pleasing color scheme Ford.

Haha. I was a marketing major so that’s probably where I get it. And I try to be positive more often than not, life’s too short to be doom and gloom.

I’m not sure if Ford still lurks here on 6G (they are fairly active over on 7G), so I guess I’m hoping someone sees it and maybe takes it into consideration? I think they at least ditched 8” wide for factory sizing and went to 8.5”. Still not good enough but at least a step in the right direction 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Looks better on Wimbledon White IMO, which is what they used for the rollout. I don’t understand them using Vapor Blue at all for the 60th LE. WW and Race Red are good enough, don’t need to add a third color.

Yeah, but if they didn't do it, someone on here would be bitching about not having blue.

Very true. And they ditched Atlas for 2025 which was the closest they had to Kona for S650. I thought I would really like Vapor Blue until I saw it in person. Now, not so much. Just another grayish tone IMO. Kinda boring.

It's one of those colors that can look great or very meh depending on the lighting.

"We at Ford surveyed the muscle/pony car landscape and in celebration of the continuous 60 year history have decided to buy the rights to the 6G Camaro, retrofit a 497HP Coyote Gen4 into an otherwise unchanged car, mated to the TR3060 6-speed and used Sharpie to cross out the bow-tie or pry it off the backing, and super-glue the Ford oval on top.

The onboard software we licensed from GM can do OTA updates reliably and with the car powered off, rebooting itself while you enjoy your supper. We also acquired a Transmission Controller and valve pack designed by real engineers who got better than C- grades in engineering school and who also paid attention in shop class and materials science.

We now present the *real* Dark Horse that we should have announced 2 years ago but we made the fatal mistake of listening to our completely out of touch marketing department that spends each day sniffing their own farts, and chasing Gen-Z who are too poor to own anything, let alone our wildly inflated 7th Gen offerings, and today release the finest-handling sports-pony car to a fawning public.

Instead of a single track mode, you get 4 levels of AI intervention. Instead of a 'my mode' that forces you to accept our notion of what should be permissible, our new GM Chassis Unit lets you mix and match your choice of Magride, Steering, brake bias, and throttle curve. Apparently our Ford software team is incapable of building a 3-dimentional array of 8 elements deep and can only do combinatorics that don't involve permutations. It appears their software degree and diplomas were acquired from Kraft cereal boxes and not institutions of higher (and actual) education."

quoth Farley when I stuck a mic in his face during one of his water breaks between laps of Gingerman in his personal DH-racer while he played boy-racer instead of running the damn company and bitch-slapping the stupid out of his engineers, marketers, and bean counters. Then again, he'd probably have to start with slapping himself into next week.
Hahahaa!!! Exactly! I’m a UX guy, designer and product manager…. Ford needs to spend more time listening to the right people about the Mustang and stop pandering to the stupid out of touch world they “think” we live in.
