I think I have a problem. I bought the Adapt a few weeks ago along with small bottles of Amplify and Hero. My gallons showed up today ;) as well as my new DI rig. I hooked it up and it keeps up with my pressure washer no problem, flows at 2 GPM without issue and keeps the PPM below 5 at that rate. I measured before and was 142 today straight from the tap... AND, it has a built in bypass, bonus Man this detailing life gets expensive

I got an amazon special too , the first time I used it was a disaster but I quickly learned that less is more (sprayed way too much the first time and it ran EVERYWHERE LOL) . While it is OK I much prefer a MF sponge personally. The only downside to sponges is they are hard to clean, I just buy a bulk pack of the real small ones and dispose every time...

I agree. I will try it with the intended dressing at some point (Darkside ), spray dressings are messy, the sponge applicators absorb it easier...

A while ago ya’ll recommended these. While it still takes some effort to get all the chunks off after a track day, its totally possible to get them all with this. Great stuff.

If I had found a shot of her in red that fit with the goal, I would have used it. The difficulty is in the "pose," if it doesn't fit, it's a deal breaker.

While it is OK I much prefer a MF sponge personally.

The only downside to sponges is they are hard to clean, I just buy a bulk pack of the real small ones and dispose every time...

I think that I have mentioned that I used the CG's half green, half black cube sponges for many years.

And yep, it takes some time to clean one for the next use. I only threw them away when the "bumps" were worn down but I still have a half dozen or so if you want 'em, Alex.

I just run into a red solo cup and have a ppm meter.

As for the sponge I just use a standard microfiber covered applicator. The cheap blue ones.. Those specific tire dressing sponges I hate them.

Griots Fast Correcting Cream is apparently one of the easiest heavy cut compound to work with. As the name suggests, it corrects fast but will also finish acceptably well. Will I ever need to use it? Maybe, maybe not.

The OG Tire Dressing Applicator brush is a collaboration between OG and Detail Factory. This takes the bristles from the Curveball, slims them down and melds it with a longer handle that has a rubberized grip with the OG logo.

I'm not totally sure this will be the magic solution to tyre dressing brushes, I'll see soon enough though. I think this and certain other new products from OG has more to do with wanting some product exclusivity. There have been many common detailing products that have gone viral because of his exposure and effort put into videos, only for other vendors to feed off that and take the lions share. Bead Maker, Koch Chemie GSF, EGO Blowers, Swisstrax flooring, pressure washer accessories, Kranzle...........................

Personally, I think it's taken him a long time to realize that. Naturally, some of those products existed prior to his involvement or endorsement. But who took them to the next level by spending thousands of dollars making videos (he has editors and camera operators on the payroll) and taken the financial risk by taking on a brand? I sort of feel sorry for him in that stuff that his was instrumental in creating, such as the now universal MTM SGS 28 short gun, were then hawked to everyone. Same happened with Active pressure washers.

He now has small line of OG-only products that give him exclusivity and the ability to choose who he wholesales them too. The Bilt Hamber lineup for the US market is one of the latest, but also includes his own version of the Kranzle (K1322), Mosmatic pressure washer accessories, the tyre brush and interior scents, Drying Aid and Tire Dressing, with a modular car washing specific water treatment solution on the way.

Anyway, just my two cents on a business I have no skin in.

Oh, and those OG hats are the most comfortable I have ever tried.

D, this is exactly why I have trouble looking at OG products, let alone consider buying them, knowing there is a huge markup. I'm sure the "OG spec" product refinements are better, but my casual use cannot justify the huge premiums.

Case in point, my foam cannon:

One of these cost me $99 from Griots themselves, with free delivery to my mate's address in Dallas. It's exactly the same product, so I'm not sure where the 57% premium is.

All this reminds me of my father hating our family doctor back when I was a child. This doctor had his Lamborghini parked at the rear of the practise. All the other doctors just had regular shit heaps, but most likely had expensive toy cars at home but out of sight of their paying customers. It was this obnoxious display of wealth that obviously irritated him, although jealousy might have been a factor as well.

Personally, I think it's taken him a long time to realize that. Naturally, some of those products existed prior to his involvement or endorsement. But who took them to the next level by spending thousands of dollars making videos (he has editors and camera operators on the payroll) and taken the financial risk by taking on a brand? Same happened with Active pressure washers.

The OG videos are a double-edged sword.
On one hand they can showcase and/or demonstrate a product, but on the other hand, it shows how this guy is rolling in money. The fit out of his garage, the toys and the cars.
One must then think if the products are over-priced to begin with.

I think "Mike", the guy often shooting for him, is a full-timer, and there is minimal editing involved in their content anyway. It's relatively cheap to produce vs exposure gained.
