InnerQD and Pilot both perform very similar. While I do really like the lemon-scented InnerQD, the masculine cologne-esq scent of Pilot is refreshingly different, I just wish it lingered like InnerQD does. I wouldn't rush out to buy Pilot, rather its a viable and pleasant alternative.

Have you tried Adapt? It's even easier to use as a drying aid and seems to have more lubrication to it compared to Amplify. However, keep in mind I'm talking degrees here.
I did order a small bottle of Pilot to try, what the hay worth checking it out... Inner QD is/was my favorite, I used up all my Gyeon interior quick detailer and did not reorder so Pilot can take it's place..

Yes, I LOVE adapt. I actually bought a gallon of Adapt, Amplify and Hero as well :). I use adapt much like you do, for door and under the hood, trunk (Bonnet, boot :) ) . I also use adapt for my rear end frequently as my car loves to get all carboned up if I drive it hard, it makes quick work of the mess, just liberally spritz on and gently wipe off :). I do like the scent of Adapt better as well, although Amplify is really nice...

And in keeping with the Mustang theme here, her dad Ron owns a 1968 Shelby, which she sang about on her Golden album.

Nothing to do with detailing, but I don't care.
The red Shelby was her dad Ron’s car. Hasn't got it anymore. Now has a s550 Shelby.

Kinda like Carpro Elixir
Alex, that is perzactly what I thought after reading the reviews. I probably don't wash my girl more than once a month and I have been giving her a dose of Reload after every wash. But, I'm gonna give Amplify a looksee next time and if it holds up and, is a bit easier to apply, I may switch over. If not, then I'll just use it up on the the wife's vehicle and my pickup.

(can anyone pickup the song title I referenced in bold there? :D).
Ok you don't have to ask twice. Top song.
Funny but I'd never heard of Kylie Minogue (no AU offense intended, D and I am showing my age not to mention my distaste for most of the music over the last five decades,) <grin> but the original track was recorded by Electric Light Orchestra.

Blasphemy ... !!!

You need to make amends, I feel you next avatar needs to be Kylie themed ...

And to really restore the balance, the one after that needs to be Dannii Minogue :sunglasses:

WD :like:

Yes, Amplify should work for a month. But if not, this is the equivalent to Reload in ADS form...

No no no, Can't Get You Out Of My Head is a Kylie Minogue original, pure pop perfection and song that still sounds fresh 23 years later. Very different to Can't Get it Out Of My Head.

And she is often wearing my favorite color too...........................

Not a day goes by without me listening to her music. She has got me through some really tough times, I think we all have an entertainer that does the same thing.

Meaning the owners had been eyeing your DD when you pulled up in the morning? Or, did they see the monster box of ADS products in "the boot?"
Armour Detail Supply have been sharing my Instagram posts on their page. I guess they are still small enough to notice things like this, the larger companies basically ignore me because I'm not making reels or videos, or pushing a "personality" agenda like a lot of social media detailers do.

I learned of Kylie when I was stationed in England
Yeah, I gotta get out more..it's been a LONG time since I touched down in Jolly Old England. <smile>

Not a day goes by without me listening to her music.
Happy for ya D but listening (shortly) to her rendition of CGYOOMH, it's not my kinda tunes. And, I see the difference between the ELO track and hers, the ELO tune is called,

"Can't get IT out of my head"

..but my feeble old brain remembered, "YOU" not "IT." <grin> Duh..

Armour Detail Supply have been sharing my Instagram posts on their page.
Well now, that is just TOO COOL, dude. Exposure, exposure, exposure. <smile>

Thanks Alex and I knew that Amplify isn't SiO2-infused. I want to try it to see if it's much easier and quicker to apply than Reload. Based on what you guys have been saying, I think it will be. No doubt either one will accomplish what I want.

Used as a drying aid, Adapt or Amplify?

Are some people not doing a full wax coat and instead just using these toppers as drying aids instead of a full wax?

These toppers are typically used for ceramic coated vehicles, however you can also use them on paint that isn’t coated. Most are not recommended for use on top of wax.

I'd probably go Adapt as the drying aid, just seems to be more appropriate for the frequency of use.

For those that don't want to go through the hassle of applying a wax every 5-6 months, then using a spray sealant drying aid at least gets something on the paint and keeps it fresh. The reality is, a traditional wax, sealant or modern ceramic coating doesn't always need to be topped after each wash, but we certainly like to do it for the tactile feedback it gives.

It’s such struggle to not run your bare hands across the paint after a good detail!
