Where do you guys get your rotors and pads? I’m at 53k miles on the stock 17 gt pp brakes.

I am at the point they need replacing. I don’t need anything fancy. Should I just stick with motorcraft pads/rotors?

Very happy with my DBA T3 and street performance pads for my daily. A little more bite but not jarring & they look the part.

I put a set of them on my XR6 last year, combined with a slight increase in rotor size, Project Mu pads and stainless lines, they gave me a decent improvement over the stock items.

I’ve always been curious about my pads. They’re very good. I think they may be track pads because they squeal when they’re not up to temp yet. Still a lot of meat on them so I know it’s not metal on metal contact.

Powerstop Z26 and rotors. Been running them for about three years.

I bought my Powerstops through Amazon. They did mess up the order twice. First try they sent 4 rear rotors with matching pads. 2nd try they sent a set of front rotors but pads for a jeep. 3rd try, they sent another set of front rotors with the correct pads. Each time they told me to keep the wrong parts and dispose of them however I wanted. It's time for new front pads, I wonder what I will get this time......too bad all those extras were for the rear :)

If you’re happy with that performance level then OEM absolutely is the best option. It’s a really good set up.

I have a set of fronts just turned if you’re interested.

Where are you located? I’m curious what these would cost to ship. I’d definitely stick with OEM, they seemed to have worked good for the 53k miles they’ve been on.. lots of brake dust from the stock pads though; I might want to try something else in that regard..

I’m in CA. I can get an estimate for you if you want. I ship high performance parts (and non car related design work) all across the lower 48.

Otherwise I won’t be in AZ until Barrett Jackson In October.

I have a stock of pads but most are race oriented and I wouldn’t recommend on the street. My OEM ones are about 50% used.

If you're considering buying used, turned rotors why not ask around locally for a shop that turns them and just use what you have? The cost would be orders of magnitude less for exactly the same thing.
Honestly, and some will disagree with this, at 53k miles as long as the rotors measure out for thickness and there's no vibration in the pedal you can probably just replace the pads without turning the rotors. What's commonly referred to as a "pad slap". As long as the rotors are good (thickness in spec and no runout) it's a perfectly acceptable method for a daily or weekend car.
Now if you track/race or spend all your time on twisties skip the used anything and go new rotors and pads.
