According to my dealer, he insists that the Sync system can be added via the dealer after market.

I would look into a CAI also. Other then that, I would purchase a GT grill (upper and lower) and install that.

I have a v6 Automatic. I can get a CAI and probably do the exhaust eventually, but other than that is there anything else I can mod on this car, power wise.

The auto should react nicely with the tune then. I'm not well versed on the 3.7 but if it's like my old 4.0...the only real major gains was forced induction. Everything else besides a tune provided minimal gains. I had a BBK CAI that was nice...gave a nice sound and picked up a few HP on the butt dyno when paired with exhaust.

Is this a daily driver?

No single mod can void your warranty.

I built the exhaust by hand as I was getting tired of waiting for aftermarket companies to release their exhaust kits. If you would like I could provide a complete bill of materials and build plans that you could have an exhaust shop follow. In total my system cost around $300-$350. Other then the exhaust I have a throttle body spacer installed. Basically the reason why you are having a hard time finding parts is because nothing is released yet... I'm just waiting on aftermarket to release their CAI's... While I could create a custom CAI like my exhaust the CAI is just a bit more complicated... Roush is suppose to be releasing their kit soon which should be no tune required as well.

Thanks so much for that info Zack! I just got back from lunch and went for a ride in my v6, man i love it! Its plenty power already but I know I can squeeze a little bit more out of it. Would any of these mods void the warranty?

No mods can void your warranty, as I already stated. If a mod causes a problem, that repair may or may not be covered under warranty. If your engine blows up and you have a tune, expect to pay for the repair or fight a long legal battle to get them to cover it. If you have a bunch of mods and something unrelated to those mods fail, you won't have any problem. There's thousands of things that can fail on a modern car, a couple of mods isn't a big deal.

Exactly what Grimace427 said above. The only mod you really have to be careful about with the warranty is a tune. Most tunes are perfectly safe but say your transmission starts to have issues because of a design flaw or factory defect, it would be very easy for the dealership to blame the issues on the tune and require you to pay for the repairs. That is why I am holding off on a tune at least until I can get completely comfortable with the car and get a few more miles on it.

I used to have a 14 mustang v6 and the most satisfying upgrade was catback exhaust. Although you only gain about 15 hp the noise alone is very satiafying. Since you dont want to void your warranty stay away from tune but honestly the 3.7 engine has proven to be very reliable so you shouldnt be afraid to do a tune. If you tune the car ur warranty for drivetrain is kind of out the window unless their is a recall on the car but all other parts are still under warranty i.e. suspension. The best places to look for after market parts are americanmuscle.com and cjponyparts but those arent the only ones. A little google search will show u alot more

OP, I suggest you research exhaust before you make a purchase. And not just on you tube. Listen to real world cars in person. Personally, I have yet to hear a nice sounding after market exhaust for the 3.7. Just my $0.02.
