Traded in my v6 today and got a decent amount for it. Found myself a left over 2016 deep impact blue with a nice discount. The dealership loved the way my car looked and really wanted it the way it was over stock. I did keep my aftermarket rims though. Also heres a tip, they loved the aftermarket tomtop 8" radio with navigation so they gave me a lot more because of that radio. :D

Thanks for all the help guys. Im gonna be moving into the darks side of the forum. :ninja:

Here's some pics of the way it looked before the trade..

HOw much did you get for your V6? And how long have you had it?

I am considering doing this in a few years when I am not in negative equity.

Ive had my v6 for about 7 months. First dealership I went to offered me $17,000 for it and I was like nope. Then I went to the dealership where I bought my v6 from and they offered me $21,250 for it which I thought was pretty good.

I would agree, considering that's only $250 cheaper than I paid for mine when it was new, before taxes and fee's.

Yeah, I was pretty happy for the amount I got for it. Also getting the gt for 30k helps too. :D

Goddam you're getting some nice deals. $21k to buy your V6...and getting a GT for under $30k. I cant find a GT for under $30k and I don't think a dealer would buy my V6 for more than 18000. Plus I have an exhaust on there maybe they wont buy it for that much.

New '16 GTs can be had for $27k locally at Brandon Ford here in Tampa. They still have two in stock at that price. And several more under $30k.
