As I’ve said on here before my car is a custom order spoiler delete PP1. I sort of like that it’s low key but I also love the look of the spoiler. I bought an OEM spoiler, going to the dealer next week to have them look at the trans. Should I have them put it on? I’m torn.

Seems simple.but I doubt dealer will put an experienced guy on it many haven't done thus at deskership? so you have a risk they couldn't do it right and scratch your car while doing it.i think others on forum have diyd it maybe they'll chip in

Moreso asking if you would put the wing on aesthetics/performance wise. Not worried about the dealer installing.

Are you asking if you should have a spoiler put on or keep it like it is?
Or are you asking if it is 'safe' for the dealer to install one with their body shop oompaloompas?

I'd guess it's going to be cheaper going to a detail/speed/mod performance shop near you where all the ricers get spoilers put on their Civics.

If you are asking about the aesthetics, only you can answer that. I have the PP spoiler on mine but it's all personal taste.

I like the wing. I've got the Shelby GT350 on mine.

Just asking what others would do looks wise . I like the look better but also think it’s kind of cool that it was a delete car from the factory like the Bullitt.

I think mustangs (or any performance cars) look really weird without a spoiler. Performance cars require downforce.

As you are looking for opinions on the aesthetics of the wing....IMO it looks better with than not.

I first ordered a 2019 without a spoiler because I was not a spoiler guy. Ford ended up buying it back and when I re-ordered I decided I really wanted a spoiler. In hindsight I should have always got the spoiler, but the gt350 swing wasn't available when I first ordered, if it had been maybe I would have always been a wing guy.

Keep it off. A decklid with no holes is relatively rare. I searched for a couple months before I found one without holes in it that I used for my wing.

If I were you, I would buy a decklid with holes already in it if you want a spoiler.

As for DF. Well, there is plenty of data out there regarding how much DF is actually created by factory spoilers. Your better off to move your battery to the trunk than use something from the factory, with the exception of the GT500 wing.

Apparently a decklid with holes in dark matter gray is equally rare as there are none for sale that I can find right now, junkyards included
