Question. I will be installing my Whipple Stage 2 soon.
** Would I prevent this clearance issue If I just buy another set of rails like Arcane or Fore and install them?
Thanks
I asked Fore if I could just buy their fuel rails so they would fit. They said their fuel rails will not fit the Whipple GEN 5. I am not sure about.Arcane though.

I guess I will call around. Their kit should not have clearance issue. That sucks.

Great to hear it’s accessible with the blower on the car. I’m thinking I will most likely go the route of the Motion Raceworks fitting, then their 8 ORB to -10AN male fitting. Then a 45* or 60* fitting to route the house out at an angle and out of the way of the fuel rail. Would then run -10AN hose back to the firewall and use the Fathouse fitting to go from -10AN to the factory connection. Stupid what it will cost, but I think it will be the cleanest.

Keep us posted on how things end up with yours!

I think you can only use the Whipple rails with the gen5 blower. They come with -6AN rails, but they offer a -8AN rail upgrade as well.

Just a follow-up from my side - I emailed Motion Raceworks and their adapter that replaces that tall coolant pipe on the passenger side is meant to be used if you're bypassing the heater core. The stock hose on that side has a restrictor fitting in it so it lowers pressure as coolant goes to the heater core.

So simply replacing that with some AN hose could risk damaging the heater core... Maybe an AN fitting to a hose barb could work in order to utilize most of the stock hose. Will have to think about it some more.

Let us know what you end up doing on that passenger side @Brian-17S550

I already have that straight fitting you referenced ( Dorman 800-411 ), it came with the Whipple. If I'm reading your post correctly, where I used the hose clamp in my picture, you used a Gates power grip?

Thanks, sucks I'll have to drain the coolant to fix it, but at least I'll feel more confident than the hose clamp.
