Pre-Collision Assist/Advanced Cruise Control

Good afternoon,
I have a 2021 Mustang Gt Premium Convertible. My pre collision assist and advanced cruise control have stopped working completely. Only 13k miles. Trying to figure out what this could be!?! I don’t see anything obstructing camera or radar. Really don’t want to bring it to Ford either.

Hey there, I have this on my 2016 so it is probably a little different but did you check in your gauge cluster to make sure that it is still on the adaptive option and not somehow back on normal cruise?

The stupid little camera behind the rearview mirror is probably fried. Same thing happened to me at 17K miles

Chiming in to say "also check your fuses" to ensure the follow camera (behind the rearview mirror) has power.

Wont even let me change it. Stuck on adaptive.

Unfortunately, you wont be able to see. Mine got too hot that a component in the camera housing/main board got so hot it delaminated or desoldered itself. Ford had to replace the whole unit under warranty.

There is a radar behind the bumper. Mine went out at about 8K miles. I had no cruise at all.

You're within the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty so they should repair it under warranty.
