Holding the TC button down for 6 seconds works in my PP car. No need to pull fuses. I can wheel spin off the line as much as I want and the nannies don't kick in no matter how badly I get sideways. I've spun her completely around, had tank-slapper fishtails, and have run her completely off the track under ABS braking from 140 mph, you know, all the fun stuff that the nannies won't let you do (All at the track, of course.). I don't think you don't need to get on your knees in the passenger footwell and pull fuses.
LC was still enabled on my 16 GT PP. As for being on your knees... The fuse box is located in the engine bay. It is what I wanted though. It's off 24/7, no need to switch everything off everytime I get in the car.

:lol::lol:

There's no official Parliamentary inquiries by white-wigged officials of insurance companies in the event of a normal fender-bender here.
you do know that these cars have Black Boxes, and the techs can get all the info out of the car, how you drive what you have on and off
also they say the Sync 3 feeds driving info back to Ford !!

Launch control is opt-in. You have to manually enable it. That's completely different from a nanny system.

If you don't want the launch control don't turn it on in the first place.

You are misunderstanding what I am saying.

LC can only be used if some form of TC is on. If TC is fully disabled, the "LC" will turn to "RPM". However, if you disable AdvanceTrac (by holding down the switch), then LC is still usable.

This isn't England.

Big brother isn't an issue.

Yet.

are you NUTS
your government has been monitoring you for years, and now your phone does and now your car
And In a way it's not a bad thing, unless you have things to hide?
Security services have far reaching powers that you would be shocked at
We are not as half as bad as your lot, at the moment

Read the manual. On page 143 and 144 there is a straight forward table that clearly states what TC and AT features are ON / OFF after various button inputs. That table shows that if you hold that TC button for 5 seconds the then both TC and AT are OFF. That lines up with my own personal experience after, oh, 70+ launches with it set like that.

I can't say why the LC warning doesn't show when the car is in that state, it is odd, but I would trust the manual over the warnings programmed into the LC display. Or someone could go try it and report back. I don't have any doubts, so I'm not wasting any more time on it.

Look dude, you're not an American, so please stop trying to tell me about my country and my government.

We have 10x the freedom you do, you have no clue what you're talking about.

There's no "black box" investigations over regular auto accidents.
