Thanks to the local government's unquestionable wisdom, even more poorly constructed and completely useless giant speed bumps were installed in my neighborhood last summer.
The end result is that my front-end alignment is knocked out of place ever so slightly. I thought a quick trip to the local Ford dealer would solve that problem. I didn't expect any issues as my suspension/front end is completely stock (with the dealer installed front spliiter on my HP Mach 1).
Unfortunately that wasn't the case, as I spent 3+ hours on Friday having them first tell me they couldn't do it because my car being lowered (it's not) and they couldn't get my car on the alignment rack . When I pushed back they found a tech who works on GT500s and apparently he had made some ramps he used to get the GT500 on the alignment rack, but said, even with the ramps, they couldn't get my car on the rack.
When I pushed back further and said these are all Ford parts, they should be able to remove/install it again they just outright refused.
Has anyone had an issue getting an alignment from a Ford dealership with your HP car w/ the splitter installed?
Anyone have any recommendations for the DC/MD/VA area for a shop I can trust?
Thanks,
