There was a rumor that the first ragtops had a quality control issue about the tops leaking.
Your car traveled through the rain for some distance...did you find any moisture inside the car when you opened it up?

I love the idea that the rear antenna is retractable...the first car show photo I saw of the convertible had the antenna
down. I submitted a question about the antenna but no one until now could answer whether or not it could be hidden.

seems a bit roomier in the back. Havent checked the antenna yet but will soon and get back to you guys.

There is a bunch of them (verts) sitting at Flatrock built from November. Mine was built last Thursday so its kinda like the 2nd batch and I didnt notice any leak cause it was raining all night last night and this morning I checked all over to make sure :cheers:

Sorry for the repeated questions but since you are first you are the first target. I think we know from the specs that the hip room is lower and leg room should be about the same, but how about the headroom? Ie, if you sit up straight are you getting punched in the head by the roof/rear glass? I am 5'11" and in the 14 vert I can sit up as straight as I can in the back seat and the roof barely brushes my hair. Really hoping the 15 is the same...

Really appreciate you taking the time to answer. this is the last hurdle that I need to clear before my wife is fully on board.

Congrats! Question: I understand the change for the antenna and satellite bump but is there a reason GT 'verts have the smaller spoiler?

I personally think that the best Spoiler is not simply the "smaller spoiler" but Option# 13D Spoiler Delete. I really was pissed at not being able to get the Sirius Satellite Radio as an upgradeable option on the Base V6 Convertible but after seeing that White Tumor irrupting from the clean lines of the Trunk Deck, I`ll pass. Sure its painted at the factory the same exterior paint color but still.....it looks like a stuck on after thought.

Follow up question on the rear-seat headroom, does the antenna raise and lower? I assumed that it would be fixed, but in the pictures it appears to be lowered...

It looks like in the photos the antenna just wasn't screwed on yet....probably left off during shipping and part of the dealer prep? :shrug:

On the spoiler, I agree these cars look best sans spoiler...I think the fastback one looks slightly better but still think those look better without...IMO

Convertible antenna

I asked about the antenna because I have seen a couple of 'car show' photos of the convertible with only a small 'base' of the antenna showing. On other photos, the antenna is on/up with a somewhat fat rubber boot at the bottom.
I can live with either situation.

Good question though...I am curious as well now that you mention it! I've only seen the black rubber antenna, but I haven't seen any verts in person yet. I can live with either too! :cheers:

The antenna definitely hasn't been screwed in yet. This link shows a vert on a dealers showroom floor with the antenna screwed on:

you are definitely right, that is fixed. Also in the description it says "fixed antenna"
