I dont know, I think you'll have a fight regardless. If they hire people like this, they probably are aware of these issues and just deny them regardless til lawsuit happens.

Yea my clutches should be fine, it's the handing an 800 horsepower car to a kid that makes 15 bucks an hour that worries me lolsomething tells me your clutch will be okay lol
Yea, I'm in the process of trying to locate one of these as we speak lolman thats exactly why i only let certain shops do my alignments on the special cars.
Especially when he could make 20 per hour at McDonalds.Yea my clutches should be fine, it's the handing an 800 horsepower car to a kid that makes 15 bucks an hour that worries me lol
Firestone is crap! I think I will just take mine to the dealer and wait for it there. Or find a performance shop that I can trust around me.I can believe it, and it makes me glad I stopped going to Firestone.
If there's a sports car club in your area that does autocross or track events, their members would basically have a list of shops they trust with their alignments.Yea, I'm in the process of trying to locate one of these as we speak lol
Great idea tyIf there's a sports car club in your area that does autocross or track events, their members would basically have a list of shops they trust with their alignments.
Absolutely correct, No Alighnment Drive check needed I never allow any mechanic/ Tech to drive my car, if their comes a time in which it is nessasary, Yep, Im sitting right next to them. And for me, I alway take picture of my odometer at the shop and reverify when they are complete. I always wait and watch.Friendly reminder that an alignment doesn’t require a test drive.
And thisThis is why I do 90% of my own work and AWAYS do waiting appointments for routine work like an alignment.
I have such distrust that I haven't brought my Bullitt in the the rear camera recall. Everything works fine, so I'll avoid the shaved apes (aka service techs) whenever humanly possible.
Sums up everything has to be said.I never allow any mechanic/ Tech to drive my car, if their comes a time in which it is nessasary, Yep, Im sitting right next to them. And for me, I alway take picture of my odometer at the shop and reverify when they are complete. I always wait and watch.
Dude, I'd be livid. DEFINITELY get a thorough WRITTEN inspection, with a repair quote, and get a lawyer. I'd sue them for actual and punitive damages. Document the time and mileage for all activities related to getting it fixed and record the days without the ability to drive the car.god that was some terrible driving, missed shifts, clutch riding, and general bad practices driving a manual.
I assume you have firearms at the ready now if you didn't before. This feels like when I had my house broken into a few years back. It was months before I could sleep soundly after it happened. It’s going to drive me nuts forever because any little noise or clunk is going to be maddening.
