I see your point, I'd say a "Ford Enthusiast" is a very wide range of incomes though, mostly middle class would you say? (say yes). The pricier GT350, Mach1, GT500 are top end prices. Base GT is middle to low costs. I think the 2000 that Ford is going to create with the GTD will all sell to the top top enthusiasts. We are all witnessing the last breathe of combustion engines, true horsepower wars all over again. Once this is done, the hybrids will take over and dominate. Enjoy it why we can....I think it's a stupid move. A mid engine car to compete with the Corvette would have made more sense imho. And $300,000? Ridiculous. How many true Ford enthusiasts can afford that?
