I do not. Sorry if I implied that.

I was just curious because if there was an assembly issue at the factory Ford can usually pin it down to cars built around the car that failed.

Was hoping my build date was far away from Storm728's that's all.

I see what you mean. I do however find it kind of odd that most of the PPs built firts week of December are being held and other non PP's are being released. Maybe that's just me being paranoid...

Does anyone know what kinda of TOB the MT-82 has and is the slave part of the TOB? Does the TOB use hydraulic pressure against it to keep it in line and lubricated?
Having dealt with earlier Ford slave cylinder and TOB designs, I googled the slave cylinder for the mustang, and it's the same basic design they've used for about 20+ years now (upgraded over the years though). The slave cylinder is concentric with the input shaft of the transmission, with the TOB mounted on the end of it.

Storm, I hope you get it sorted out soon and back on the road! Hopefully it's just a slave cylinder or TOB malfunction.

EXACTLY the same as in my SVT contour. The issues with these is any hydraulic pressure lose causes the TOB at the end to go bad and start to make noise or chatter. So now this make me worry even more because of that strange hydraulic noise I heard when I first reversed the car a few times. I sounded like hydraulic pressure being release somewhere.

The non PP GT I test drove had no thump or funky business. It was also a dealer tester, which was run hard since day one and had about 1k miles.

This just makes me more unsettled about this trans. I hope Storm can confirm if the noise he heard was the same as in my video. Maybe then I can make some headway with the dealer.

Can we safely say this is a PP issue then? If I understand correctly, ecos and 6ers are not having the issue, and non PP GT's as well? If this holds true, what is different drivetrain wise in the PP?

I was doing freeway speed in 5th and went to change gears into 6th when it seemed like the clutch just stopped engaging. I pulled off and tried to go from a dead stop where the clutch would bite for a second then just slip leaving the car going nowhere. I can even disengage the clutch while in any gear at a dead stop and the car wont stall. I have 1600 miles and Shorty's and tb for mods. Towing it to ford as I type this. Very disappointed at this point:frusty:
Sorry for what happened. Com'on Ford.
