If that valve is still in your system, will it mess up or effectively alter you hit master settings ?

With your setup, would it be better to remove it completely ?

Yes, that fitting is still in my system. I actually don’t know of a way to modify or enlarge the opening on it, as the clutch line plugs into one end and the tob plugs into the other. Not sure if it will have a negative effect after the Hitmaster settings. That is a very good question though.

The TSB was the first I’d ever heard of that elbow having anything to do with torque control. I just thought it was simply there to connect the clutch line from the master cylinder to the tob. I don’t know of any aftermarket fittings that have a larger inner diameter.

Interesting TSB for the MT82, which shows stock clutch failure that may be related to excessive wheel hop from aggressive launches, and doc calls for Peak Torque Limiter replacement.

Per TSB:

See attached PDF for images and location of the Peak Torque Limiter.
I think this peak torque limiter in FordSpeak is likely what's commonly referred to as a clutch delay valve. I know a lot of people on the forums have been looking to find out if there is one in the mustang mt82 platform to see if removal will improve clutch feel and high RPM shifting. This elbow that connects the clutch line to the transmission/slave cylinder likely contains some form of orifice or spring-loaded shaft that slows down the engagement of the clutch even if you dump the clutch pedal. If it's not working properly/improperly designed it may also impede the rate at which the clutch disengages when the pedal is depressed. Further investigation would likely require removal of said component and taking pictures of the internals. Given that I've been having problems with my car's clutch take up since purchase, I may further investigate. If anybody gets to it before me, please take some pictures and put them up in the thread.

I think it doesn't have one by default and the tsb adds one
