Also, can anyone confirm the size of the breather ports on the ESS Intake elbow? They look to be 5/8" but just want to be sure

https://esstuning.com/ford/Who did you all buy your ESS system from? The Australian web site or some where else?
When did you purchase? I ordered July 14 and it days awaiting shipping. For those of you with the G3 headunit (still waiting patiently- can you tell me what the inlet diameter is, as well as the diameter of the intake tube? I want to get rid of the intake section that has the holes in it for the breathers.
I purchased mine on 7/4, and woke up this morning to a "Shipped" Status. When did you purchase? I ordered July 14 and it days awaiting shipping.
Here’s a semi cold start up of my car just to give you an idea of what catless sounds like. You gotta do welding to make that happen huh? Looks like it's not just a bolt on thing. How does it sound without them? I read it sounds kinda bad.
Yessir, X pipe with gt500 mufflersCrazy how much cats change that. That sounds like an x pipe.
oh ok, so thats not just catless.Yessir, X pipe with gt500 mufflers
I guess yeah that’s true. When I was catless, h pipe, stock muffler, and stock diameter throughout, it was way more raspy.oh ok, so thats not just catless.
Interesting. I always thought the H pipe made the deeper note. I personally don't care for the raspy/poppy sound. Looking to keep that deep noise.I guess yeah that’s true. When I was catless, h pipe, stock muffler, and stock diameter throughout, it was way more raspy.
Now it has 3” diameter x pipe and the 2.75” mufflers and 5 inch tips. It sounds deeper even with the x pipe
