I’m having some noises coming from the rear end, I was thinking it might be the thrust washers, and while looking into it, I came across a thread on here that mentions they have been known to cause a variety of DTC issues when bad.

During the dyno pulls, I was inside recording and my GF was outside and was recording, I didn’t look at her videos until right now, and noticed my rear tail lights were both going crazy, not in sequence with each other or anything, I’ve never seen that before, I know they unplugged the plug under the hood for the ABS for the pulls, I’ve been looking at other dyno videos online from the rear and have not seen anyone else’s taillights going crazy like mine were…

My question is do you think there is any relation between the possible thrust washers being bad and taillights going crazy and my car not wanting to pull past 6600 rpm?
The taillights are LED and the lights shine at a certain frequency. The camera is recording at a similar speed frequency and you are seeing the camera pick up the flicker in the LEDs that you cant see with your eyes. This is completely normal and not something that you can see unless you are taking a video of the LEDs and the camera is catching them at a certain frequency of how they refresh the light. There is nothing wrong with them.

You'll see what ZX is describing in a lot of cold start videos where guys are recording from the rear of the vehicle to catch the sound better.

I have the G3 kit and I made 712 WHP on 93. PBD dyno tuned it for me. My setup is 120mm pulley, BAP, 1000cc injectors, and NGK spark plugs. My IAT are usually about few degrees above ambient while moving. Sitting at idle it won't go above 115. Keep in mind I live in Miami, FL so it's always hot.

I believe I am an outlier on the performance because when I spoke with ESS they were like WTF I sent them the videos and dyno sheets and they were impressed. So you definitely should be able to get to the 700 with a 110mm pulley. It's roughly anywhere between 20-40 HP per pound of boost.
I put down 730 and 593 on 93 with the 115 mm pulley. Id1050 bap dw400 because the stock pump is about maxed out with the 120. Catless longtubes

Got fuel door from AM & Supercharged emblem off ebay. Matches GT/CS emblem.

Ok, I received my kit today and all looks good except...

I have the kit w 125mm pulley but instead of Gates K061033, 103 7/8 inch belt, I received K061037, 104 5/16 inch belt.

I assume this belt will work and there is no problem? @Brevin@ESS

Just buy the green HD version you need from Orileys. They are like $60.

I believe and don’t hold me 100% to this I saw Brevin say this was the new belt they were sending out for the 125mm.

I've been reading this thread for the last 3 weeks. Was going to go for a procharger at first but this thread put me on the ESS (which I hadn't heard of before) and sold me. Then I saw a bmw at a cars and coffee with an ESS kit. It was a sign lol Ordered my G2 kit on 04/26. Super stoked to get it and experience this awesomeness

Awesome. I'm super excited. Already started burning out all the E85 in my tank. Want to run at least 1-2 tanks of 93 just to make sure all the E85 is gone. Figured I have another 2-4 weeks before the kit gets here.

Install a fuel system and keep it on E85. You should’ve saved enough by not going Procharger.

Maybe down the line. I'm happy to be off of E85 though, as there are not a lot of stations around me that sell it. So I always have gas tank anxiety and end up going out of my way to "top off". I like the power it gives and love the smell lol but I don't race my car at all, so it's not like I need the extra power. It's just a fun daily driver for me
