LMR SVE SP2’s are much lighter than Mach 1 HP wheels, the difference is huge when handling them during tire changes. That being said I’d bet the OEM wheels are a lot tougher when it comes to potholes. I’ve got 19x11 SP2’s on my Mach 1 and love them.

I think the HP wheels are meh at best. I’m a late comer to the S550 platform and I like the PP2 style. I think the Mach 1 wheels are only popular because they are the newest wheels.

Just to clarify: Keep in mind the mach 1 replicas on lmr I believe have the same offsets as the sp2. They will not be the same offsets as OEM mach1 wheels.

Looking at these wheels for my 2015 GT vert. I've upgraded to Brembos but otherwise suspension is stock (for now). I have a Procharger on her so I need some meaty tires, and will be doing some track days this summer so time to ditch the factory 20s and allseasons!

Few questions: I'm looking to do these SVE SP2 wheels in staggered setup, and putting on a set of Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires I can get locally that are factory take-offs from a new Mach 1 (305/30/19 and 315/30/19)

1. Will this setup fit okay with no rubbing? I'd like to avoid spacers for sure.

2. What kind of drop could I do in the future with this setup and avoid rubbing?

3. Would I get a ton of poke on the front with this setup? Anyone have photos of 305s on the front?

They’re a +50. This is a pic of a members car with the same size that I had saved a while back. I’ve gotta order a couple more tires for the front wheels that arrived today so I can get mine on the car.

Going with the Hankook 325’s since the tread wear rating is pretty good and they’re cheap for a daily driver. My hands aren’t small, these things are wide.

Look like this post might answer the question about the rears.

A 255/40/19 is a 27" tall tire, so if you want to run a square setup, go with a 285/35/19. They are a 26.9-27" tire and are a perfect fit on a 19x10 wheel.

2: I'm currently running SP2's 19x11's with 305/30/19 all around. 1" drop all around. 25mm spacers up front with no rubbing.

I’m running 20mm spacers, but my car has Magneride and parts may be a little different than non-MR cars. I measured a thin 1/4” clear at the strut with 19x11 +50 wheels and a 20mm spacer.
