My car arrived to dealer with the HP rear spoiler, non-HP car. 2023 MY, built in late Dec iirc from window sticker.

Only problem I have is it didn't have gurney flap and sourcing one separately is proving difficult..
I wonder if Ford did this for custom order cars. I looked at dozens of 2023 cars online last night and not one non-HP car had the HP rear spoiler. I would be thrilled if mine had one on it.

Interestingly, my simulated car on Ford’s order page shows the HP spoiler on my car but it also shows HP wheels.

so having an HP rear spoiler without HP front splitter would mess up the assumed aero dynamics if you believe Ford did their homework and balanced out the car. No?

I read hear that 2023 cars get HP spoiler instead of the blade one from Performance Package 2. I guess they ran out of them and you'people get these for free.

No or only mildly, it's the Gurney flap that off-balances it without front splitter.
The GT factory spoiler isn't much smaller than this one and it has no issues. It works fine.

Little more info: Mine was not special ordered, just dealer allocation that I caught before it was delivered, I locked it up before it got to the lot.

I was very "gung ho" to get these flares on my front fenders only to find for myself in daily driving that I think they SUCK . All they do is trap rocks (pebbles) between themselves and the paint , its amazing how many get trapped . Pretty annoying , I will probably remove them before I have no paint left on my fender edges ...

I'm really excited to get them installed on mine - but, I'm a detail guy and resulting paint issues will NOT be worth it to me. Thanks for posting your experience with them

The HP should have them from the factory. Sometimes they come with the car and are in the trunk (like the gurney flap) and can be installed at purchase.

Mine actually didn't come with them at all and I just got them thrown in to the deal when I got mine off the floor. I would ask them to include them since they should be included based on Fords own configurator.

You can also buy them from Ford directly and the dealer (or you) can install them if you buy the car.

this is kind o flike the salesman that told a lady her truck wouldn't come with seats, she had to pay for them so she'd think it was a good deal when he threw em in.

Sorry to hear about your situation, I was looking to get these as well but after hearing your trouble with them it sounds like I’m better off without em…still want the HP spoiler though haha

Eh my BIL works at the dealership I got the car at. They already gave me a hell of a deal on my trade in so a $300 addon was peanuts in the grand scheme of things.
