I already commented on people living in southern/better climates.
Again to me its a special car and I will treat it as such, I actually enjoy
cleaning, washing and waxing my mustang. On my current one, I do mods every winter,
so I enjoy it year round, just in different ways. If beating a car like this gives you enjoyment, its your money, going to walmart in my mustang, so some idiot can bang carts or doors into it, doesn't do it for me, at end of the day its each to their own.

Funny thing my dealership took over a majority of a Walmart's parking lot during the construction of a new Metro stop. They installed an automatic gate for employees to swipe their card at. So I can say I park everyday in a Walmart parking lot, but no customers can park there.

Financially, everyone should be in a 10 year old Focus.
That is silly! What about those of us who can afford a tiny percentage of our net worth for something better? What about safety/ What about capacity for people and cargo? What about comfort for those of us who drive much more than the average number of miles per year?

Except for the repeated mention of 10 year old Foci and some money-oriented squabbling this might as well have been last year's "Will you DD your Z/28" thread elsewhere.

Of course I'd DD a GT350, just like I would a Z/28, and if it comes with PSS tires I wouldn't even change those for most of the year (I took the PSS off my '08 only last week). Take trips in it too, and not just the 1-hour drives to my home track. If I wasn't retired, damn right I'd drive it to work, the odd snow/freezing rain day probably excepted.

I live in sunny AZ so assuming I decide to go the GT350 route it will certainly be my DD. With the roads and driving conditions out here it would practically be a crime not to. Not to mention it's Scottsdale, the land of DD Aventador's and 458's nothing's too crazy to drive every day if the weather permits.

Well now, should we start who is going to DD their GT350R? (Assuming street legal, just more extreme)

I will start and say yes I will (unless I get a regular GT350 as well or keep the GT500 I have - which I daily drive).

Currently drive the GT500 daily as it gets the best fuel economy in the garage - yup that is the only reason:crazy:

Now to the OP, I will grant that up in Canada there are days that I would not drive any of the above and will stick to the 4x4 F150/Expedition. Use to live in Calgary before Texas

I live in Canada and my DD is F-150 H-D which is great for all seasons.
The snow and Ice is one thing, its the salt that is nasty.
I drove my current Mustang, until the first time roads were salted.
But its a toy, I did not build for daily use.

Yes I would daily drive it. My logic is that I want to buy this car because I think it will be fun to drive. How much fun will this car give me sitting in the garage? None. If I only drove it on nice days I would spend 1/2 the year in something I don't want to drive.

People around here already think I'm crazy for daily driving a Mustang GT, but it's fun to drive, even in the winter.

Another part of my logic is that this car is only a car, only a Mustang and I believe that Ford can continue to make cars that are more enjoyable. So in the end I believe I will trade it for something better.

I'd DD this in a heartbeat, provided the weather was suitable. I'd still have a beater or second car available for bad weather and snow. It's not a limited edition vehicle and while it may hold it's value a little better than a normal GT, I don't think these will ever make it to real collector car status.

It's a goddamned Mustang not a Ferrari. Why wouldn't you drive it daily?

This is not a rare, exotic, or limited production vehicle. DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT.

The car has navigation and heated seats...of course it will be an excellent daily driver. I have had cars with Magnetic suspensions before, they are just great for comfort. Especially if you're on a good tire like the Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Well actually it is limited production but I'd still happily drive it every day.

Yep, DD for sure. I live in a cold and snowy winter environment as well. Throw on a set of snow shoes and, provided the roads are plowed, hit the road.

People drive M3s in the snow, why not a GT350?
