Is in deep sleep mode, that the battery level is low and should be driven for an extended period of time. The car is a 2022 GT with only 2500 miles on it. I don't drive this car often, it mainly is a toy/sunny day car.

Do you have it on a battery tender?

The insane thing is, I had those same message back in March 2022 and I was driving my car every day. Same battery. Nothing has changed since then. But I no longer get those messages.

When did you buy your car? What date is on the paper-work?

Modern cars never quite shut off. After about two weeks of little to no use, the car goes into deep sleep, to save as much of the battery as possible. Even then, the battery is slowly discharging over time.

Several threads in the forum discuss battery tenders and give examples how to attach the leads permanently, so you can hock up when not driving.

For example, I've installed charging leads in such a way that the connection is external. When the car is not being driven, I just plug it in and walk away.

If you're not going to drive the car that often, it's best use a device of some type.

FYI: even after installing and using a tender, the car will still go to deep sleep. The advantage is, the tender is still there, 1) keeping the battery topped up and 2) "exercising" the battery, keeping the internals in the best shape possible.

Built in June 2021. Purchased in August. But like I said, nothing has changed. Original battery and driving every day. I was getting a lot of those deep sleep messages but only in March 2022.

But based on the Op's post, it probably is doing that because it hasn't been run that much.

I bought my car September 5 2022. The last time it was driven was 2 weeks ago. I usually only let it sit for a week then I will drive 1-2 days depending on weather. Everybody in our house has been sick this week so I haven't gone to work or even thought about driving it. No, I don't have a battery tender, but that is gonna be a purchase I make very soon.

What battery tender is everybody using?

I use a NOCO genius on mine. Hard wired into the fuse box and plug it up every time I park. I only drive on weekends sometimes every other weekend.

I was in Japan for 3 weeks, happened with my Bronco Sport and Mustang. Mine just said due to inactivity and extended parking the vehicle was going into sleep mode.
