This is how I park my M1 when it snows and my wife wants to keep her car under the roof. She drives an SUV and the garage is not very spacious unfortunately.

If possible, another member brought up something past you might consider: pool noodles; they come in different colors (orange for you, maybe?). Using string, dental floss or something like that, you could hang a noodle from both ends, lengthwise and leave it there. Set it and forget it. Noodles should be hitting the stores in a few months.

Good idea, I will consider it if my wife keeps parking in the garage.

Although: if the weather is bearable my wife parks outside. So this is a solution I only need temporarily. And the mats I have are really easy to use, with magnets built in (not touching the car paint directly).

I have to say that in the pictures the rims look really good (coming from a non chrome fan). However in the pictures they dont exactly look chrome to me. More like a bright aluminum or something similar. Maybe the photos dull down the brilliance of chrome.
Now just hang some fuzzy dice and youre all set, maybe add your High School grad tassel too while youre at it
